Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.
1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.
Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups. Once the writeups are posted, I will add a poll, and the team with the most votes after 24 hours will advance. EACH MANAGER SHOULD ALSO VOTE FOR THEIR OWN TEAM IN THE POLL - IF YOU FAIL TO DO THIS, YOU ARE SIMPLY GIVING AWAY A VOTE. If the votes are tied, we will decide the matchup via AI vote.
You are not required to state or explain your vote, but you are free to comment in the thread if you want to.
If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on their roster page).

PG: John Stockton (1995: 9.6 FGA)
SG: Clyde Drexler (1991: 16.3 FGA)
SF: Kevin Durant (2017: 16.5 FGA)
PF: P.J. Tucker (2018: 5.4 FGA)
C: Hakeem Olajuwon (1993: 19.5 FGA)
PG: Terry Porter (1991: 11.7 FGA)
SF/PF: Jared Dudley (2009: 4.2 FGA)
C: Andrew Bogut (2016: 4.0 FGA)
87.2 / 88
PG: John Stockton (38) / Terry Porter (10)
SG: Clyde Drexler (30) / Terry Porter (18)
SF: Kevin Durant (32) / Clyde Drexler (8) / Jared Dudley (8)
PF: P.J. Tucker (34) / Jared Dudley (8) / Kevin Durant (6)
C: Hakeem Olajuwon (38) / Andrew Bogut (10)

Defensive matchups: Tucker on Wade, Stockton on Allen, Drexler on Butler, Durant on Sheed, Hakeem on Jokic
Our backcourt D is average but if he has something like 11 Wade on Stockton and Allen on Drexler that also isn't perfect. Jokic either guards Hakeem or is stretched out to 3pt line. Hakeem is a perfect defender against Jokic.
Overall I feel we have the more talented and balanced team. Wade and Butler have overlap as average shooting slashing wings (along with Iguodala's minutes with them) and Sheed as his 2nd best shooter in the starting lineup is also average. Terry Porter off the bench is a difference maker and Dudley and Bogut are solid 7th/8th guys, Korver may be a bit better than Dudley but I prefer Bogut to Birdman. We have several real life combos in Hakeem/Drexler and Drexler/Porter. The ability of Durant and Hakeem to get their shot off can help close out games.

It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

Roster
2023 NIkola Jokic
2011 Dwyane Wade
2023 Jimmy Butler
2001 Ray Allen
2007 Rasheed Wallace
2017 Andre Iguodala
2010 Kyle Korver
2013 Chris Andersen
Lineup
Wade (38) Allen (10)
Allen (28) Korver (20)
Butler (28) Iggy (20)
Sheed (38) Butler (10)
Jokic (38) Andersen (10)
Dr. P, like virtually all of the posters here, has a very nice team. However, I feel like my roster matches up well with his.
Jokic can neutralize Hakeem's rim protection by forcing him to play out on the perimeter on numerous possessions, leaving open lanes for Wade, Allen & Butler to penetrate for easy looks. All 3 can bring the ball up the floor, initiate the offense, create their own shot and play off ball, playing off a GOAT tier talent like Jokic will cause immense stress of the opposing defense virtually every possession. Let's not forget, 4 of these starters averaged 25+ ppg on deep playoff runs in the season in question, so if you choose to double Jokic, you have to pick your poison on how the other 3 will kill you.
Defensively, I have quality, physical defenders to throw at KD in Butler & Iggy, and another good defender to stick on their point in Wade, making them work at initiating the offense and getting the ball into KD. And I'll constantly throw double teams at Hakeem with Sheed, alleviating the stress of Jokic defending him straight up, and living with PJ Tucker beating me from 3.
