PP was getting cooked the entire third . You watching the same game?

the odds-on favorite for 6MOY got cooked for the last 5:53 of the 3rd by an all star on a heater, yes
now the starters -- after resting -- have come back in to close it out
don't see how the coach did anything wrong there, but carry on I guess

Tatum just so casually great. Makes it so easy out there.

Jb has been on their As on defense too. Forget him finding his shot.

Brown is so elite attacking in space and off ball on offense. When he’s on ball, his whole game seems to unravel at times.

The Knicks were on a 15-3 run before Joe even switched the lineup. Starters took their foot off the gas after the back to back 3’s by Brown and Tatum. Joe sat there and did nothing as the Knicks clawed back in it. Thankfully they weathered the storm and looks like they will close comfortably.

starters were slacking, so Joe put in the bench, and they didn't play well, so it's Joe's fault

Tatum classy move, taking 24-second violation rather than chasing the 10th assist … like that move

He put the bench in because it was the same time on the game clock that he went to that rotation in the first half. The issue is not nipping the Knicks run in the bud far earlier. The run was 20-5 before he finally called timeout. It’s regular season so he wants guys to get these reps, personally I’m never a fan of “figure it out” coaching because you can’t control how the other team plays and their emotions

Agreed. Seems like he knew the stats too, because the two possessions prior he'd set up KP (nice pass, close shot) and JB (absolute clank) so he'd taken a couple of cracks at it.

seems like the Celtics figured it out just fine tonight. They (rightfully) have no fear of these Knicks

I'm just tweaking posters who are quiet when the team is up 27 on national TV and then start blaming the coach when anything goes wrong at all.
