The trade definitely bolsters the championship odds.

I mean, it'd be nice to have a guy like this that can stay on the court and be disruptive against Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum without being a complete zero on offense (a la Thybulle, Springer, Oubre, etc). I think he's having consistency issues scoring right now, but the shot looks good and he has PG abilities. SDSU also famously nerfs prospect's stats.

Seems like a Devin Vassell clone in every facet. Interesting player.

You think so? Watching him, I can't decide whether he can really be an impact player at the next level or is just beating up on kids not physically able to compete with him. I'm not even sure he goes in the 1st round, but he would be a steal as a 2nd rounder.

Given his production, he's probably a lock to go 10-20.

Talk about throwing our hat into the 'boom or bust' ring. It would be the ultimate long shot to actually get to May fully healthy and having chemistry from the group playing together for any length of time, but I wouldn't want to see this group in a playoff series if they had a head of steam.

Seems like his most direct comparison in terms of size and production is Trayce Jackson-Davis.

Jackon-Davis was ridiculously undervalued at pick #58. In a re-draft he would go middle of the 1st round in 2023.

Broome being more in the public eye will probably allow him to get drafted in that range.

If I had a complaint, he's a lunchpail guy stuck in a wing's body. He's listed at 6'9" but he looks a little over 6'7" to me. He didn't make any real progress in developing his shooting and passing from his freshman to sophomore year.

Brings a lot of energy and is a point and rebound beast. There's some defensive ability there, as well. He'll provide value to a team, for sure. I wouldn't mind him being the selection, there.

I'd be hoping for a more well-rounded guy like Clifford or Lendeborg, though. Even though those guys are older.

Fears is the lowkey all star guard in this draft, he just needs time to fill out and refine his shot a bit.

It's imperative for smaller guards to pressure the rim to have a chance at developing into an NBA star, both Fears and Labaron Philon are having two of the best non Ja Morant HC rim frequency seasons in recent history.

I'd have to gamble on the upside I think w/Toppin. He has increased his FT% significantly although hardly taking any 3's still. AST% doubled although still pretty low.

Measured 6'7" barefoot so 6'8" in shoes w/a 7'1" wingspan at the combine. Seems like decent PF size for the modern NBA. If he can switch on the perimeter and become an adequate 3PT shooter that's a valuable player, even without much distributing ability.

Queen seems like a good player, but i wouldnt pick him with a top 6 pick. Seems like a tweener( cant play center will be a pf with low range), with a great post game, but that part of the game isnt that valuable anymore. He reminds me of Al Jeferson.

I find his game to be incredibly boring which isn't necessarily a red flag. He's not particularly athletic. Feels like a Trey Lyles type player. Just doesn't excite me, but I could see him sticking around the league especially because his numbers are pretty insane.

I also think his scoring style won’t be able to match today’s fast-paced, 3pt heavy offense.

This dude has some shades of Draymond. One of my prime targets at the top of the 2nd round for us.
