Give him a break. Dude is in shambles since his favorite NBA player left his team and now plays with the guy he spent 20 years hating for no reason. Sad times.

So Luka was my favorite player before being traded to the Lakers? I didnt know that. Just another mvp caliber player playing alongside your hero though. This makes it 3 now not counting Westbrook. Never seen a top 10 player all time play with so much talent.

 sure he wasn’t. Keep your head up friend, things will get better one day

he didnt get more because of politics. he could have won and has gotten a lot of votes throught out 2018. he probably could have gotten it in almost any of those years and it wouldnt have been a terribly wrong choice.

2013 is the last time LeBron gave 100% effort throughout the regular season. Not surprising it’s the last time he won MVP. I think him almost losing that year soured him on expending that much energy during the regular season. Until recently you generally saw him get to the same level once the playoffs started though. Now he’s old af tho

Why?

He was an A-level player for a long time, but there is (almost) always going to be someone having an A+ season in a specific, isolated season.

A guy hitting .320 each year is going to end his career with a boatload of hits...but probably never lead the league in batting average, or maybe do it once or twice max.

I think it's actually at 6 All-NBA selections now.

But what you're saying is MJ and LeBron have played with the same number of concurrent All-NBA teammates, but MJ has had more concurrent All-NBA first team teammates (2 vs 1)? Despite LeBron's long career. That's pretty wild. LeBron's help has always been wildly overrated.

LeBron should've won in 2018 because Harden had Chris Paul's last prime year. They gave it to Harden because everyone geeked over Westbrook's triple double record in 2017 so he needed a make-up MVP
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

Just stating the obvious - Lebron wasn't as valuable as AD since his stint with the Lakers. Activated playoff mode and got monkey stomped in 2019. AD showed up, they win. AD leads them to the playoffs in 2021, goes up 2-0, Lebron is showboating, AD goes down, media/fans say AD isn't needed, Lakers get monkey stomped, yall say he's inured. Lol.

Just a lame fanbase with an excuse always cocked and ready while minimizing the importance of every single teammate.

I like AD, and I'm not a Lakers fan, nor do I care about propping up Lebron. I just don't think we need to put out meh arguments just to counter annoying ones.

The Pelicans went 25-31 with AD in 18-19, the Lakers went 28-27 with Lebron in 18-19. Both played 56 and 55 games respectively. They both needed a better co-star (and better health) to help them win more.

22-23 again had a lot of missed games. They won 43 overall. 30-25 with Lebron, 31-25 with AD, obviously there was overlap in games played, I don't know or care much about the stats with/without.

Both guys needed each other in that specific situation to win more games. AD isn't a playmaker, Lebron can't anchor a defense and doesn't have the motor or stamina in his mid to late 30's anymore to have top level defensive impact (unless he becomes Draymond on offense).

Not sure if it's about motor or stamina as opposed to just being bad at half court defense. People that are guided by him get dunks and layups. See Aaron Gordon, Patrick McCaw. Lol. The awareness isn't there at the PF position and never has been. Too many years playing scrubs out East.
Look at him locked in here, he doesn't have the motor and stamina at this age to do that every game, but looks like they wanted to really get at it vs Denver. Also probably helps to have Luka there to handle a lot of initiation and playmaking which Davis can't do.

Now, personally, maybe I save this for a playoff matchup, because you know now they will gameplan for it to hopefully fine a solution. In the playoffs, that alone could get you a game, but I get also wanting to test it out to make sure it actually works.

With Luka joining the Lakers James has played with 7 all nba teammates. Jordan shared the court with 2 all nba teammates. Not that difficult to figure this out.

All-star isn't the same as All-NBA and All-defensive players. Mo Williams, Anderson, Nelson, Korver, Wally, Magloire, Teague, Kaman, Okur, Ilgauskas, Armstrong and a lot other players are capable to make that team but since you put so much value into that, how's this?

I didn't even singled out MJ and LeBron. There's Russell, KAJ and Kobe but since you mentioned it what can you say about this?

People are still using All Star as a means of 'help' the delusion. Also having next to no context when spouting the nonsense is even more hilarious.

I wouldn't really pop Allen and Westbrook in there, doesn't make much sense based on when he played with them. We do that, then we can start adding tons of names to every guy who played with some old former star/superstar.

I actually don't see the list of players as being the most relevant thing. For example, playing with let's say Magic Johnson for 10 years is not somehow inferior to playing 4 years with Durant, 3 years with Kawhi and 3 years with Irving (this is a made up list). The amount of players is not the relevant part, the consistency of playing with a high level player in/around their prime is.

Lebron has had a lot of good teammates, but everyone who has won a lot has had the same thing, that's part of why they won a lot.

I don't really get the help arguments, so odd, I don't know what example of consistently successful players and teams we're supposed to be comparing to in these, "my favorite guy had less help contests".

It won't change that he's rarely ever not been the most important player to the league, in the league, almost since his rookie season. Lebron could flex this fact but he already doesn't get enough credit for how humble he is.

Humble?? He is the most narcissistic, egotistical, selfish player ive ever seen. Im not sure if this is satire?? If not? Ali, Tiger Woods, Bolt, Brady, Barry Sanders, Jordan, Magic, Bird, for example all meant more to their profession than James. Even Curry i would argue has meant more to the nba than James. I think James is a top 3 player all time but in no fashion has he ever been the most important player nba history much less all of sports.

I know you've never like Lebron but the more posts I see of yours that pop up the more unhinged you seem about him.

It's not worth having that much hatred for someone who plays basketball, and that you've never even met.
