Because of his age, no. I’d even take 2020 LeBron/AD over them. But Luka may be the best running mate you could put next to this version of LeBron. The amount of energy LeBron expended on the defensive end last night was crazy, and it was because he had Luka (and AR) running the offense for him. Switching between Murray and Jokic, he was on demon time. And then when LeBron sits the offense doesn’t go to **** because you have Luka coming in.

100%. It's sad he had to get to 40 to have a real playmaker beside. Closest was Wade who wasn't a real floor general type playmaker. Having Luka has been immense so far because he gets to actually be a wing defender. Him, Rui, Vandebilt and DFS actually get to be a demonic murderers row of wing defenders. Luka buried 2 comeback attempts last night. As great as AD was it's night and day playing with real offensive impact. That was usually when Nuggets usually surge and blow out the Lakers. Luka does more with 30/10/7 than even an AD 40/20.

Alright, let’s start by addressing the unexpected and aggressive defensiveness. Not sure why you’re going off, take it easy, it’s a light-hearted, playful means of saying, “teehee”.

Secondly, a post doesn’t strictly have to “contribute” in such a way that brings about qualitative or quantitative analysis. It’s perfectly fine to, in a friendly spirit, make other non-attacking posts, such as the one I made, especially in a thread where we are largely rooting for LeBron and Luka, like you posited.

Take it easy, geez.

my bad my bad totally misread. We usually on the same wavelength, you hcl, h38,IS. Must have mixed you with some other troll who been bumping my old posts, was so confused. Plus1

I think 2 of Reaves-LeBron-Luka will have it going every night, if all 3 have it going on one night then they are unbeatable, which happened last night.

Lebron did the Westbrook deal and we rightfully called him out but he also pushed for JJ which is looking like a homerun and if Bronny even remotely surpasses any 55th pick from the last 10 years we will be rightfully demanding reparations. Plus Luka is here now, revenge season is in session.

You ain’t ever gonna hear anything positive about Bron pushing for moves that work out well.

LeGM is pretty much exclusively used for things like the Westbrook trade that don’t go well. You don’t see people bringing up LeGM fr the AD trade or JJ hiring. Hmm I wonder why

Going back 30 games after that stretch in which he didn’t hit anything he’s shooting 43% from three on 6+ attempts/g. He’s shooting 44% since turning 40.

Pretty amazing to see the full skillset that’s allowing him to score this well despite basically not getting any free throws at all. Overall, his scoring is a mix of cuts off ball, spot up shooting, pull up shooting, difficult post fadeaways, ambidextrous below the rim finishing usually through contact, and some transition (worst transition scoring year by far for him which is to be expected). Shouldn’t someone with “no bag” not be able to score after his athleticism and burst have declined this much? Shouldn’t the players who “are the most skilled ever” be able score effectively in their late 30s and early 40s?

Wait, that troll is a Harden fanboy? LOL...Must have a thing for beards. As others have said, Lebron has never played with someone who can ACTUALLY take the ball out of hands for long stretches. This should be fun.

It’s not the first or even second best Lakers duo ever (and probably not the third or fourth either). No duo containing a 40 year old can be considered the best

LeBron has gotten more nba championships than Harden could dream of* fixed it for you.

I know you’ll retort with some conspiracies or nonsensical coping, but I know it hurts you that your man-crush will never win a ring.

Your favorite QB also is a low IQ predator and multiple time criminal who gets passed team to team

I don’t think even the biggest LeBron fans (myself included) would have ever thought LeBron would be come such a reliable shooter. On that same note who would’ve said that he would be playing like this at 40!

When he had his terrible stretch this year I was very active fighting against the washed claims. I really don’t know why he was so bad but it didn’t seem related to his actual ability that’s why I was confident he would get back to being Bron.

I’m glad I was right and I’m not saying this as a brag that I was right because I’m well aware the major decline is gonna happen at some point and I might be in denial then lol

It's early and this is a team that employs LeBron Ramone James, luckily the trade deadline has passed.

LeBron has a losing finals record lol, how is that possible when he has played with by far the most talent by an atg player in the history of the game

It's a whose who of nba talent that he has played with, and now Luka Doncic after playing with arguably the best defensive center/forward in the game lol

Like what are we doing here. The comparison is garbage just off the lakers roster this year lol

Harden has played with kd and kyrie in 21' but harden damaged his hamstring and never been the same since. Even the biggest harden diehards will tell you that as he has yet to make an all-nba selection since that injury

Im talking about Luka and LeBron butting heads. Which if history is any indication that is pretty much a lock lol. Wait for the high leverage games in the playoffs and the lakers lose a game and LeBron tells rob to do something about "Luka" hogging the ball, and Rob tells LeBron and Klutch.. NO! Just watch, it's all great now but just wait for it

Remember we saw how LeBron wanted kyrie traded in 2017 for Eric Bledsoe lol, which was confirmed by cavs gm Adrian griffin lol. All it takes is one confrontation or "disagreement" just watch
