Tatum attacks off the screen and gets KAT back pedaling and KAT provides zero resistance at the rim for an easy layup and that is with OG trying his best to still help and contest.

As I've been saying from day one... KAT and Brunson is not an ideal pairing (due to defense) and Thibs is not a championship coach. I love all those guys but not if we want a title.

if you replaced KAT with Porzingis on our team, how much better would the Knicks be defensively?

There are very few bigs in the league who are comparable to KAT. I just don't know if replacing KAT with anyone would make us that much better.

Would the Knicks be better with Hartenstein in place of KAT?

However, I do agree with everyone who is saying KAT needs to have a rim defender next to him. There were things happening defensively that I thought was just piss poor from Karl yesterday regardless of drop coverage.

This offseason the team needs to add an additional ball handler and interior defender. I would also probably shop Mikal to see if there's a way to add more pieces. I just don't see the fit anymore sadly.

So, only 2/5ths of the starting lineup needs to be adjusted.

They had just come off of a game where they were the first team in history to not shoot a single free throw in a game. I'm not sure how hard they were competing at that point.

Either way KP is a tough matchup for Mitch and they have multiple bigs that stretch the floor. I'm not sure he solves the Knicks issues with the Celtics.

Zone defense would give up too open many threes against the Celtics and they have great shooters.

He’s saying the same things we’ve been saying since the off season. Everyone around the league knows we can’t win a chip with KAT at the 5. Those stats are insane. Like he’s literally the worst defensive center in the league by far. But like I said, the people that were on the wrong side of history for years are the ones who are still in denial. They happen to be the rj, Frank, Obi, and Phil Jackson fans. Oh well can’t relate to that.
