I think more important distinction is that this what Giddey does when you allow if you give him control of the offense. If you put on him off ball like he was in OKC last season and how was here most of the season he won’t produce.

The question is whether they think he can be good enough to warrant that kind of usage.

The part the everyone keeps on forgetting is that he’s only been doing this for a month. Mainly since the Zach Lavine trade. Which shows that he still can’t play with high usage players.

The other thing the Giddey fans forget is that he needs to learn how to play off ball in order to be a successful starter on a Good team.. Even a guy like Luka who’s way more talented than Giddey had to learn this. This is not sustainable winning basketball. Also his 3PT% will eventually go back down to earth. Let’s see how it works this.

If think he can shoot mid to upper 30s from three. He just needs shoot it well enough that teams can’t ignore him off ball. He is showing improvement and confidence with it. His form is still ugly, but it has gotten quicker.

The limited shot versatility hurts him as well.

You know what? Considering they were down 71-29 at halftime two weeks ago, this has to feel good. They should enjoy it.

Even with his current play I'd still be hesitant to give him a big contract. He could easily revert back to the player he's been for the past few seasons.

Exactly he’s only been doing this for a month. You would like a bigger sample size before you make a decision on him.

What has the Bulls record been during Giddey's hot streak?

Oh well at least they are pounding them into the ground, if we had to win it hurts less knowing this is an incredible smashing.

Philly should just shut it down. If Embiid needs surgery then they might as well do it asap.

Their pick is top 6 protected, so it's possible that they're able to keep it.

Matas may never be a star player, hell, he may never make a single All-Star game, but at the very least he is a going to be a starter level player. He is a very versatile player, and even when his shot doesn't fall, he is going to find a way to contribute.

That’s irrelevant. Just say you don’t like him move on and instead talking about records on a terrible team since you can’t bash individual performance.

Guess the 76ers should dump Maxey since they have less wins with more talent.

It is kind of relevant especially since he’s the primary ball handler. Maxey is a different situation. He’s shown an ability to step up in the playoffs. It’s only been a month. Calm down

Nets lost to the Wizards. For anyone who wants a higher draft pick...today didn't go well.

???? He’s only played like this for about a month. We need a larger size and nba teams to adjust to him and see how he counters. Coby shot like this for a month as well.

You said yourself that the team needs to figure out if he warrants this kind of usage. Record is a part of that because it's important to know if he's conductive to winning.

You could point to when he was on OKC and they were winning, but he was benched during important moments.

There's a reason why there's a thread titled "Josh Giddey Conundrum".

So they should have said that instead of trying to use playing for a terrible team and organization against him. I don’t deny it’s a small sample size of playing at this level.

I've been rooting for the tank, but tonight felt good. Pat of me just thinks alot of this is about how good our offense and defense works without Vuc. Too bad we didn't get to see Smith.

FebruGiddey rocks another big game. Happy for the kid finding his game, and his stats are not meaningless.

Huerter looked like his vintage self. The 3's were nice, but he does alot of good stuff on both ends.

Matas had a nice 1st half and then disappeared in the 2nd.

Happy for Terry having a nice game. He's been out of the rotation of late.
