AK must be so happy right now, no one will take the final play-in spot from the Bulls, NO ONE you hear!?
Here to argue about nonsensical things and suck away your joy.

???? He’s only played like this for about a month. We need a larger size and nba teams to adjust to him and see how he counters
So they should have said that instead of trying to use playing for a terrible team and organization against him. I don’t deny it’s a small sample size of playing at this level.
That’s kind of important to as a primary ball handler because it shows how conductive he is to winning. The team doesn’t need to have a great record. Just respectable. To be honest with you they probably would have won the last 3 games if he was actually a good primary ball handler but he can’t create his own shot off the bounce so that will always put a ceiling on his scoring ability.

I'm sure it was Doug that mentioned something about this, but the Bulls play the Sixers as their last games of the season, could you imagine if the final play-in spot/7th or 6th spot in the lottery was up for grabs in that game?

We have been respectable with very close losses post all-star break to much more talented teams. If anyone else played as well as Giddey we beat Suns and Knicks. I’m debating this with you.

A good primary guy wins those games. Simple as that. A guy like Cade would have won both of these games.

This isn't some sort of intelligent comment, it's just throwaway gibberish.

Cade Cunningham won 14 games TOTAL last season, what are you even talking about.
At age 22 & 23 SGA won 22 games and 24 games. I watched 2 years of Kevin Durant winning 20 & 22 games total per season.
Teams win games, not individuals.

Missed my point. A good primary playmaker that’s actually a good scorer who can break their man down off the dribble closes those 2 games out. That’s what they needed down the stretch.

I said it wasn't an intelligent comment and it wasn't.
You used Cade as your example, go have a look at Cade and Giddey's TS% given it's something you love quoting.

Context. Giddey can’t create off the dribble whereas Cade can. Cade takes tougher off the dribble shots and has way higher volume than Giddey. Also defenses are game planning against Cade and still beating them. Whereas Giddey hasn’t even made it on the scouting report yet. Only 20% of Cade 2s and 56.7% of his 3s are assisted whereas Giddey is at 42.9% and 93% from 3. Your comment is unintelligent gibberish and lacks context.

Making 3s helped against an awful team but…
I do think we will look way better without Vuc. Even good Vuc makes you play a certain way on both ends.

You're crazy if you don't think Giddey is mentioned on the scouting report when playing the Bulls currently. He's probably the first thing teams discuss nowadays honestly with the way he has been playing.

It probably isn’t. He hasn’t played like this for long. Getting on the scouting report takes time.

I don't think you know how scouting reports work with all due respect. NBA scouts only watch the 2-3 games before they play a team in the regular season. He most definitely is on the scouting report for these recent games.
We get it dude, you don't like Giddey. You've spent your last 100 posts trashing him. Maybe take a break.

You missed the point. I’m critical of him I never said I don’t like him or liked him. I’m unbiased. I’m just saying that defenses haven’t really changed their approach to him. If you don’t like my post. Then keep scrolling or ignore me.

sco wrote:I've been rooting for the tank, but tonight felt good. Pat of me just thinks alot of this is about how good our offense and defense works without Vuc. Too bad we didn't get to see Smith.
FebruGiddey rocks another big game. Happy for the kid finding his game, and his stats are not meaningless.
Huerter looked like his vintage self. The 3's were nice, but he does alot of good stuff on both ends.
Matas had a nice 1st half and then disappeared in the 2nd.
Happy for Terry having a nice game. He's been out of the rotation of late.
Couldn't watch the game but Iwonder if FebruGiddey is ruining our tanking chances like Mirotic did in the past but on the other side I'm not so sure the next draft is great enough for building great losing streaks.
And looking at the Box Score I can only feel happy finding the Bulls playing well without Vuc and with good games from Huerter and Zach Collins .
We'll likely get the last Play in spot.
