I remember the Sixers 1983 (?) championship season … the “Fo, Fo, Fo” perfect playoff sweep. All season long, that team seemed to toy with its opponents until the 4th quarter. That’s when they would turn on the jets and close it out. It was fun to watch. I believe Moses was MVP that season too.

That team had a short rotation too.

cant do short rotations in today's NBA without your guys looking like they are going to pass out

during the 90's, shorty rotations are still alright though

You’re right. The game has gotten much faster.

Without Ran_le, Wolves are full strength. They own the Thunder.

Thunder better hope Ran_le comes back soon to sabotage the team. They don't want to see the Wolves in a playoff series without Ran_le helping the thunder win.

Ran_le is a$$. Naz>>>>>

Off the bench, Ran_le would add depth. Maybe. He's a low IQ glorified bench player.

We were told only thing that matters is record vs contenders.

2-1 vs OKC without Ran_le

Without Ran_le, Wolves win the playoffs series, and have a clear path to the finals.

Bench Ran_le, and once Donte comes back, they'll be really good.

C'mon, we know that's not the same. And it's an issue with the Knicks because they're not even competitive against contending teams as they've been blown out in each of these games. T-Wolves are obviously not a championship contending team. Detroit beat OKC. Are they championship team? T-Wolves against the Big 3 (Boston, Cleveland, OKC), while being 0-4 with Randle, have all had competitive games. All well under 9 points.

I, personally, would prefer a Reid/Randle lineup. You can't have Randle and Rudy. That's just creating the same problems he had here with Mitch, and Finch is still using the KAT playbook. As I drone on and on, KAT and Randle are not the same type of players. You can't expect him to be chilling in the corner.

If they are trying to run last year's playbook wouldn't it make more sense to just plug Reid into KAT's role that they had success with before? KAT isn't a great defender and his limitations get magnified at the 5 but the same can be said for Reid and Randle.

Randle seems like he could flourish by going back to being a 3rd big/6th man if he ever accepted that role again. He could be more of a focal point of the offense against 2nd units, his defense would be less of an issue and he could have his playing time extended depending on how the game is going.

Advanced analytics show that I rank in the 99th percentile when it comes to wanton Ran_le slander. 6th percentile when it comes to fair, unbiased Ran_le discussion. I will not be reasoned with on the topic of this player.

Ran_le is a$$, Naz >>>> Ran_le....period.

The Wolves look much better without him and can actually challenge the Thunder for the WC crown if Ran_le gets DNP's or comes off the bench in a very limited role. These are the facts.

In fact, since Ran_le has been out, Wolves fans are realizing that Jaden McDaniels is >>> Ran_le..they said mopey dopey is holding back the young fellow.

They can't wait to dump Ran_le or let him walk this summer. His next stop may be China.

next two games on the wolves schedule w/o Randle are probably against 96 Bulls and 17 Warriors. I‘ve never seen anything like that stretch  3x against OKC in 4 games

I'm a noted rj hater.... but with him playing average hoops would we better off with rj and iHart than OG at his contract? I don't even know if the math maths on their contracts adding up. But with OG's health issues and iHarts defense just wondering if we would have been better off. Prolly wasn't even an option cause of iHarts bird rights or whatever.

It wasn't an option. Because we had Early Birds (2yrs prior) and not full Birds (3+ years prior) on iHart we could only offer iHart up to 16ish million per year under the CBA and he got 30+ per. OKC could offer that because they were well under the cap.

Figured it was something like that. Really sucks that we weren't able to keep him. He was a disappointment in the playoffs last year. But for most of the season he was great and he would match well with kat. Oh well.

Is Brunson, DDV, Mikal, OG, iHart, Hart, McBride+ a better team than Brunson, Hart, Mikal, OG, KAT, McBride+?

I always wonder what the Nova group would have looked like with OG and iHart if they just dumped Randle and Robinson's salaries into Detroit's capspace for whatever draft compensation that could get so they could get far enough under the cap to offer iHart a more competitive offer?
