Biid demise came early and here we are lol. Morey pivoted to younger unknowns at the deadline and after on the market but should have been doing so since he got here...and previous regimes as well. And when you had servicable youth..he let them walk because his braindead coaches refused to play them.

Absolutely. Another thing many of us railed against and were lectured about was the seemingly never-ending 2-year window that we had to compete, therefore every acquisition had to be win-now, and draft picks were useless because they would come to fruition after this imaginary "timeline", so they had to be dealt for more "win-now" pieces. It's amazing in a way that Maxey and McCain are even here given the madness that has gone on.
