If Mara thinks this team is winning more than 6 games next year he is worse off than I thought. We need to focus on improving and development.

I’m on record that I think Will Johnson, health permitting, will be a better corner in the league, so a trade down to 6 or so won’t bother me. Carter though? He looks like a monster in the making. Really interested in his combine.

Colin Cowheard was saying the rams want the 3rd pick. He didnt say these exact words, but he basically was saying that Schoen and Daboll are desperate, cause they have a mandate to win this year. And that this rumor has a lot of legs behind it.

He said the rams are looking to rebuild and that they are tired of the stuff that surronds stafford, with his wife etc etc.

Yeah of course the 3 pick should be off the table. Mina Kimes in her most recent pod was talking about trading first round picks plus Stafford and how she would do that if she was a Giants fan. The Rams are picking 26th. I’m still a no to trading the 3 pick for a 37 year old qb.

Ward and Sanders working out against each other and talking a whole lotta sh*t

Is it just me or is Sanders always pretty quick to throw his teammates under the bus? Cam even calls him out for it ~14:30.

I'm not saying I want it to happen

But y'all letting Saquon walk only to the next year draft a RB 3rd overall would objectively be funny

I don't think you'd take him 3rd, I think y'all are doing due diligence and seeing who would be available if you traded down. Least I hope you guys wouldn't take him 3rd.

I like Shedeur but I am not taking him with better players in play for us at 3. If we trade back, maybe, but I really don't want to pass up on either Hunter or Abdul Carter, two guys who will be difference makers from Week 1.

That would mean we'd be trading back to draft a RB in Round 1.

Schoen cannot be that stupid. He can't. Take BPA and move on

i don't necessarily mind trading back if it's a big haul but in no way shape or form should we be in on ashton jeanty anywhere in the 1st round

Ranaan is saying the Giants are going in on Stafford.

I'm not sure about this either tbh because I don't think we can sacrifice a 2nd round pick either.

On the bright side

When it fails, you'll at least get to clean house and start fresh with a rookie QB and new head coach at the same time, rather than a HC on the hot seat who can't let the rookie QB develop and is trying to squeeze as many wins as possible out of the roster to save his job.

I really don't understand why we're even doing this. No one makes good decisions as a lame duck.

Because at the end of the day, the decisions are made by owners, who are not necessarily the most qualified people to run an organization

Honestly, I don't get it either. Only thing I can think is Mara really believes the roster outside of QB is good, and either doesn't want Ward/Shedeur or doesn't think they'll be there at 3.

worst case scenario I see is if these guys are allowed to pick a QB in the top of the draft and that player doesn't look good and we have a bad year.

Mara will fire Schoen/Daboll and then what do we do with the young QB...knowing Mara he forces the next GM/HC to keep the QB...we won't move off that player within a year. So you have a new GM/HC that are settled with a QB they didn't pick.

I know Stafford $$$ will be large but at least we can move off him with dead money and the new regime will have there pick of a young QB after a bad year with Stafford.

Mara just hates being a laughing stock...he doesn't like to rebuild/tank whatever you call it. He wants to win games even if they are meaningless wins as long as they aren't bottom feeders I think he is ok. He clearly isn't good at this.

Bring back a GM/HC on the hot seat with a winning mandate isn't good for a team with zero QB's
