I'm not sure I'm buying what Givony is trying to sell though, that Nate Ament makes it a group of 4.

Quaintance #5 :-? He turns 18 in July but he's only 6'9 PF/C I guess they expect him to grow to 6'10 or 6'11. He gets so many steals and blocks. Do they think he'll be Ben Wallace with that FT%?

Trying to predict big men before college is a fool's errand, RSCI has a very loose correlation to NBA production and for big men there's barely any correlation at all.

Looked at Ament briefly a while back and liked what I saw. Sadly, we won’t be in the range for any of these kids next season. We’re not the types to ever commit to a tank, so unless injuries devastate our roster we’ll never be as crappy as the Wizards or Hornets of the world.

Quaintance early declared and has been putting up great numbers at Arizona State as a 17-year old

He's playing at Arizona State early.

Peterson is what a Harden type prospect looks like.

I haven't seen all the prospects so I have no idea how some of these kids look like. Which is why I find it hilarious the photos they decided to use.

On first look, I have no idea who Fleming is as there are 3 people tangled up and he's not even in the middle.

Even better, poor Ian Jackson has the top of his head cut off.

Wasn't even on my radar, thanks. Given his age he does have some very good to great numbers, except for that putrid free throw percentage.

I think he's even better than Harden was at Arizona State. Flagg is an incredible prospect, but Peterson is the best prospect (save for Wembanyama) i've seen since Luka. The kid is legit. In almost any other year Dybantsa is consensus #1, but I think Peterson is just that special.

There's highly hyped high schoolers every year. This trio is definitely on the upper end of hype, but Flagg has fully lived up to it. It's very unlikely that two of the trio next year will end up being better prospects after a year of college and there's a good chance that Flagg is the best of the bunch. Bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, I would absolutely prefer to have #1 this year than next.

I just want high functioning like Liam McNeeley or Kon Knuebel. Even Alex Condon seems a better bet than CMB developing into a scorer here.

Absolutely. We need to be looking at two way guys as much as possible, especially if we're drafting later.

I wouldn't take McNeeley or Knuebel but I do agree that we don't need anymore zero offense tweeners.

Haha we'll see man. Flagg looks like he's going to end the season in some pretty elite company and these kids ALWAYS look better the year before their draft year.

Remember tank for Muhammad and tank for Drummond ?

I think in shoes. Probably 6'3.5 barefoot. But he bounces around like Westbrook and can shoot the 3.

https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/russell-westbrook-1.html

Westbrook was a sophomore so VJ being a 1/2 year older Freshman like Kon is fine. Queen as a freshman is a half year older than sophomore CMB. :o

VJ with the STl/TO = 1 and A/T of 1.75. :o

Westbrook had a 3.9 GPA in highschool and not heavily recruited. Backup plan was Stanford and be a walk-on for the basketball team.

Peterson looks like Ray Allen, while Dybansta looks like TMac.

DP is a SG
AJ is a SF
Flagg is a PF

So the wings will look flashier.

I just watched some more AJ Dybansta stuff, he's not as elite offensively as ACE Bailey, he definitely picks up his dribble way too early which is something I hate with players, especially young players. He does this because he's so long and strides, but it gets him in trouble often because he's off balance, or trying to nimble his way to the rim, defensively, he can be a perimeter lockdown defender if he wants to be

Can't judge high schoolers accurately until they face better defenses.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

TMAC as a comp for Dybantsa aint bad, but I think you're selling Peterson short. He's waaaaaaay more dynamic on ball than Ray Allen was at UCONN. He's still so young, so this may end up sounding foolish, but Peterson's as close to Kobe as I've seen since.

I put Kobe, then changed it to avoid people saying well why not MJ.

If Peterson's 3pt shooting is legit, the could be Ray. Looks like Peterson is around 6'5-6'6 so more like Ray Allen.
