Thanks for the recommendation.

My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed it, felt personal somehow. Excellent movie.

Oh? I'm less sad now!

Is it a weekly release? I thought they all released at once. I might have waited if I had known. I'm waiting on Yellowjackets season 3 to be complete.

Yeah, weekly. Finale is next week.

I’m waiting for seasons to be complete on a bunch of shows too, Yellowjackets included.

Very saddened by the passing of Michelle Tractenberg and Gene Hackman in the last 24 hours.

What a bleak time, the world lost two amazing acting talents (and also very sad about Gene's wife and dog also dying)

I need to start watching the 80s Superman classics again this weekend.

There's a new Netflix series based on Jeannie Buss's life and the Lakers called Running Point. Looks awful. But I'm watching it for Kate Hudson hehe. I've also liked Justin Theroux who plays one of her brothers.

Just watched "Hoosiers" a couple of weeks ago with my Sports and Society class. Sad story. RIP Dale and family.

So many. "The Unforgiven", "The Firm", "The Quick and the Dead" and I bet many forget "The Birdcage".

I tried to get into the Oscars but it's tough when you haven't seen any of the movies. I kinda feel like they should push it back later in the year and give people a chance to see this stuff once it hits streaming. No one goes to theaters these days.

I watch tons of TV and movies but I get much more into the Emmys than the Oscars, simply because I've watched the Emmy nominated shows and care more about who's going to win.

Anyone watch The Electric State on Netflix?

I was excited about it, but then saw the horrible reviews and 18% RT critic score. So I put it on with very low expectations and figured I'd laugh at it for a minute and turn it off.

It was pretty good and fun imo lol. I think the audience scores will be much higher than the snobby critics on this one. I mean it's not winning best picture but as a big budget adventure it did its job of entertaining me.

The opposite happened to me with "Toxic Town" on Netflix. It has glowing reviews (100% on Rotten Tomatoes) but I found it just OK.
