I believe after his deadline they didn’t WANT to make a move. All the reputables talked about how they don’t even really call anyone about trades?
Wise man once told me you can lie to some people all the time. You can lie to everyone some time. You can’t lie to everyone all the time.
T minus 5 years and counting to 2030.
Btw, where did you get the all the reputables talked abt them not really making calls? I only heard this from Windy.
There is something to be told, to understand why it's important that Windy (ESPN reporter) said it.
Bojan Bogdanović returned to native Croatia 8- ish days ago and talked to friends, as he knew he needs surgery that will be done in Europe. Friends went out and told it to some media members in Croatia, but upon hearing it, Bojan had to call that media outlet in Croatia to ask for not publish info before Shams makes it official.
Once Shams "reported it" it was official. Again, despite fact this "news" wasn't news, it was something that was factual issue at least weeks prior to "Sham bomb".
That's how trades work. "Woj Bomb" and other "bombs" always have to come from ESPN, as they have some sort of NBA - exclusive for news. This shouldn't be surprising, ESPN is owned by Disney, one of largest companies in the world. And TNT & ESPN payed 2,6 billion dollars for tv rights , but also it's obvious that they have full control of inside news.
Meaning, when some ESPN insider says something, it has waaaaaaaaay more legs than when any other member of media outlet has "inside". Because, they literally pay billion dollars for such things.
Basically, ESPN has monopoly over "inside info" in nba. It goes so far that even "news" that 36 years old player at tail end of his career can't tell anybody he is hurt but espn, so they can publish it first. It's borderline crazy really.
