It's crazy that this shot went in, but nothing special for KD. Incredible tough shot maker.

SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

I do really hope you guys gonna find the sucker for KD and regain some of the first round picks and maybe some young prospect

You guys almost in the same boat as the Nets was post KD to Suns trade , we had Mikal who was traded for 5 first round picks, you can prob get similar return for Booker
We had one very bad contract in Simmons aka yours Beal

So in retrospect if all align for Suns and Nets , we both can have young exciting middle of the pack teams in 3 years , and maybe contender in 5 years ( depending on draft luck ) and front office getting wiser next time around

Best wishes to the Suns

"It's so much noise that's going to be around us. It's so much tension around whether we're going to win or lose the next game.

So many people wishing that we don't win games.

It's just a lot of BS around us, but I think if we understand that's just the nature of the beast and we go out there and play with more pride and more energy, more enthusiasm, I think that things can turn around, but you really actually got to feel that." Kevin Durant.

That pass from Book in his last 3p made was a beautiful dime.

This is the biggest fear I've had.
I want the team to win, but I'm concerned we're maybe witnessing fools gold. KD isn't getting any younger and his value won't be as high as it currently is.

Let's say we cut Beal (giving us about 25mil in dead cap between he and Little), and whatever we do to fill out the roster doesn't work for next year. We, again, must endure an extremely frustrating team/season and HOPE we can get a decent return.
Even if it's a good year, does anyone really think we can win it all with KD and Book and hit or miss role players at this point?

The defense, energy plays and athleticism have gotten better around him since we started giving Gillespie, Dunn, Oso and Martin minutes.

Sabestar probably does but that’s because he believes in anything. But yeah no, nobody else with functioning brains thinks this team will or can win it all.

Absolutely.

If you put the right pieces around Book and KD we can get there. Winning a championship? I don't know, but the Suns have not won one in almost 60 years.

Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant won the Professional Basketball Writers Association’s Magic Johnson Award for the 2024-25 season.

The award honors the NBA player who best displays on-court excellence as well as embraces media interviews and engages with fans.

Kellan Olson:
Well deserved to KD. He was available for extended time on the side as soon as he got here (to local media as a global superstar) and was cool doing quick extra stuff on the side throughout the season when his full media obligations are obviously up there with anyone.

I hope they keep him. Unless we send him to HOU to get our picks back, it makes no sense to send him out for clearly inferior talent/picks in the teens etc.

Honestly....I'd just stretch Beal and run it back. Probably in the minority, but I still think KD and Book (without Beal) is enough to make the playoffs.

It's pretty much the Suns only option at this point, his trade value is just too low for moving him to be worth it.
