Re: Price for Timelord (to Milwaukee)?
The trade deadline would have been the time to trade him. This summer, there's not much incentive to trade him unless there is a pick or young talent in return. An expiring for expiring doesn't matter now. If there are no picks in return, then the Blazers may as well hang on to him. I also can't imagine anyone sending a 1st for him. More than one 2nd may be overpaying. He could be a game changer as someone said, but he doesn't play enough to be a season changer.

Cleveland offers one of Strus, Okoro, and a 25 SRP and a 26 SRP.

POR would have to take that.

I was hoping and expecting this to be one of the first replies. You did not disappoint. Jroy have it all.

And Chicago wasn't going to move Caruso for less than 2 FRPs, until that offer wasn't there and they settled for an offer that was made. Not saying the Blazers will sell him for cheap, but them coming down off that ask wouldn't be unprecedented.

Having him for 1 playoff run instead of 2, plus a new injury may lower that price.

The Blazers GM isn't that bright. He just keeps holding out.

Missed opportunity, Blazers saw their players lose a ton of value for overrating them and / or failing to acknowledge the right time to sell (Dame, Simons, Jerami Grant, RWIII, etc). Guess they're not smart enough to learn from their mistakes.

That offer is nothing.
This ends in one of 3 ways, from best to worst:
1) Blazers wake up and sell for the right price (expiring and MAYBE 2 SRPs)
2) Blazers refuse to sell and lose him for nothing
3) Blazers refuse to sell and also refuse to lose him, they overpay and end up with a negative contract on their books when the next injury inevitably happens.
This is basically an IQ test for the Blazers FO and fanbase, we'll see how they fare but so far it doesn't look good.

Please don't blame the fanbase for the Blazers' inept leadership.

Also, Timelord aside, it's Ayton and Simons we're most worried about. I don't even think selling for assets is an option for either, so we're just praying for door number two at this point. Clogging up future cap with those two would be a monstrous unforced error.

We kept hearing about all these teams being interested in Grant early in the season, but the GM was holding out for 2 firsts. Now Grant has played himself out of anyone wanting him, even if the Blazers tossed in a pick. The guy has gone from mediocre to horrible. Now the Blazers are gonna be stuck with him.
I would have sent Grant, Simons, Ayton, and Thybulle anywhere and not expected any picks in return. Just get rid of their salary, but that didn't happen either. The boys picked the wrong time to win 9 out of 10 games.
