Every team is average until they aren't. OKC could lose in the first round and then the whole story changes. The probably won't, but they could.

What kind of word salad philosophical nonsense is that? "Every team is average until they aren't."

Here's one for you.....Everything is dry until it gets wet. Look I can say something is blatantly obvious also.

That's how I feel about what Cousins said. Every team that wins the chip for the first time had people saying "they can't win because __" some variation of they are not as good as their record.

Cousins has a point in that we are not a favorite to win the title. That should be obvious. We are an "average" team in a sense of we are equal to a .500 team is laughable, but we are average in terms of mediocre, or forgettable in the scheme of things could be accurate. Are we the Reggie Miller Pacers level? The Mourning Heat level? Teams that were good but never really did anything? We have to see over the next 18 months who we really are.

It is crazy that they are banking on the worst case scenario to happen for Luka.

I watched their game last night. Their defense is insane. Wagner and Banchero really couldn’t create much against them. And the fact that they have Deandre Hunter and Ty Jerome off the bench is a cheat code. They are the biggest threat to the Celtics.

I haven't watched enough of em to validate my skepticism, but I question if Garland is a legit 1b to win it all. Prolly would have said the same thing about Brown last year so whatever. They're a really solid team.

Not sure either but they got two other 18 PPG scorers in Mobley and Hunter. So even if Garland doesn’t play that well, they got other scorers who can step it up. These mfs are loaded

Hurts they got hunter for free and we gave up a kings ransom for mikal
