Re: The Washington Commanders Thread
Players that I'm interested at 29 based on listening to podcasts and reading mock drafts:
Will Johnson - not a stone cold lock he's a top 10 pick. Sounds like his 40 time will determine if he stays in the top 10-15 range or he drops. Michigan corner
Kelvin Banks - this guy has been mocked in the top 10 for basically the entire year, but questions about his size and position at the next level (if he's a tackle, he goes higher, if he's a guard, he goes lower).
Colston Loveland - seems like the second best tight end in the class,
Jahdae Barron - his 40 time will determine if he stays in the first round. Corner out of Texas

it's crazy that some scouts/gms have hard cutoffs for arm length for tackles, usually 33 inches but some believers in big o-lines need 34 inch arms. it's a very black and white statistic for them.

I think it has more to do with longer arms = better chance at guarding pass rushers. Shorter arms, probably better in run protection and you'll be moved inside.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

I didn't realize Joshua Palmer was a free agent.
He instantly jumps to the top of my list.

I'm okay with this list except for number one.
Not really keen on Kupp/Samuel at this point in their careers.
We need receivers that can stretch the field.

Burden is a stud but has a TON of growing up to do. His body language was so piss poor this season. He’s as clutch as they come though and I think the Skins are that type of organization now to foster and help correct an immature brat now a days. Would love to get Burden in the second round. He’d be a freak with Jayden throwing to him.

He’s super talented. One of those guys who can break a small gain into a tuddy. But yea red flag attitude problems. History says those guys do well in the league.

Re: The Washington Commanders Thread
Looks like Washington and Houston are the finalists for Deebo. I wouldn't give more than a 4th or 5th rounder that turns into a 4th. But Deebo is fine as a number two, and bringing back guys like Oz wouldn't be the worse thing as he's perfectly slotted as a WR3/4.

That's the thing: He's not a number two receiver at this point.
Go talk to 49er fans. His physical abilities have diminished....which is why they have no problem trading him.
Don't get me wrong. I think (hope) he can still be a weapon. He just can't be your number two.

My position is let Peters cook. We finally got a competent guy in charge and there are a lot of decisions to make. Should be interesting.

I'm not thrilled with it either.
If we add another legit WR 2 during free agency I'll feel better about this move.
