If it's 2021 and you have Poole, Middelton, Smart, Brogdon and Holmes, you would be considered good team

Glad their fans are experiencing joy and fun again. It’s been a while, they deserve a good season.

Watched the game. Auser and Beasely were awesome. Auser is on a whole other level defensively. Just destroys opponents and has great handles. Just cannot shoot 3's. Tobias has been great as well as he was voted most consistent player on the team this season. Cade is god like at times. Been fun to watch. 8 game winning streak when they were predicted to not make the playoffs. Seems all the players took another step up in level including the bench players except that Fontecino guy.

I hope the best for Pop. Sounds like his career might be over. Shame to have your body fail you, he probably had another decade in the tank mentally.

There is report from Philly newspaper saying Joel Embiid could go to a procedure this summer and be out 1 to 2 years.

Darn, Just two years ago, this is the MVP of the league and now could be done for his career. Philly just extended him.

How time flies...

good reminder that most players aren't Durant, Lebron, Curry and peak in mid 20s.
Embiid played his best ball from 24-27.

I'm not sure we will ever see NBA players playing as well as those 3 have at 35+ yrs old, technically the 3 greatest players at 35+ age ever. Only Kareem & Karl Malone give them a run for their money with that

Yes there will be advancements in tech/methods to get longevity, but another part of it is all 3 of them have an undying love for basketball. That's what has made them the faces of the NBA for so long.

Lebron has played in the NBA for more years than he was alive prior to joining, thats unreal. 18 on debut, 40 now.

Yea, there are few active players today who just redefine what's possible, 3 of them in nba, Ronaldo, Messi, Modrić in soccer, Đoković ( Nadal & Federer before retirement) , Brady in NFL.
Lasting for so long at that level is crazy, especially in contact sports.

i'm not saying put money on Lakers winning title if you need that money, but if you have some extra to "invest", that's a good bet.
For start, they start most game 8 v 5

saw some clips of "fouls" called on them, hard to lose in such fashion.

Even Steph Curry at his age is unheard of. We have casually experienced something amazing. For all of my "not caring much" for Lebron. He wins any argument in terms of longevity. If he retired now for example we would still think highly of him as a player.

I realize you meant this in green font, but for perspective, the last time Oladipo was a major starter in the NBA (starting more than 36 games in a season) was 2017-2018. His one good season ever.

Ouch.

For example, one can now get betting odds for "start of WW3 (assessed by a nuclear weapon used in a war)"?

Indeed: cruel!

Watching Nuggets - Celtics and not much to see. Just best team in nba steam rolling through Denver team.

That offense, ability of people to make extra passes, hit 3s, spread floor, attack missmatches , it's just whole different level.
