Just got home I told you they would win because I was going. Fun one to be at though overall. I checked the game thread at halftime and you'd think we were down 30 and headed for the lottery. Refs had some hairy calls for about a 5 minute stretch in the 4th to try and tighten it up it seemed like, but it's harder to tell when you're there.

Denver was 18-11 on the road coming in.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Is Kuz a new fan favorite? Would love to know the list of Bucks who can go 5-15 and get a positive nickname around here

He didn't shoot the ball well but 16/9/5 with 1 turnover is a really good night for him.

Khris in the past was a great offensive player and an above average defender. Kuz is a good defender but not really a good offensive player, has a lot of hustle but very poor touch in scoring.

That Khris is not ever going to show up again, dudes legs are toast. Kuzma has his warts but they needed someone who could actually play and he can.

Yeah I mean Giannis shot 11-23 and he had a pretty awesome game. Kuzma was good tonight. Team was at their best with him playing by a wide margin.

Just a great 2nd half and win. Green and Trent were snipers, Kuz was great defensively, albeit a little weak at the rim, and Giannis straight up took over and imposed his will.

This team will be a tough out if Doc doesn't hold us back too much.

Team high +19

Kuzma is what we’ve needed for a long time. Athletic 4 who can run, defend and rebound.

Assuming we’re healthy I think the playoffs come down to Dame. Most of the rest of team will be bottled up defensively by playoff intensity basketball.

The thing Kuz brings that I didn’t at all expect is rim protection. He can help down and can alter or even block shots.

I’ll also give him a pass on some of those missed circus layups because at least he is attacking the rim. He should work on doing a jump stop at the rim.

Hilarious that Giannis decided tonight he was going to defend and rebound so he becomes the best defender and rebounder on the floor while casually putting up 28 on the other end.

And we got GoS stating the Bucks should be looking to move this guy to get better.

Kuzma has a nice bully ball layup when someone bodies him on a drive, but when a guy is avoiding contact to meet him at the rim he has to sense that he's being timed out and hit 1 slow step, stutter step or gyro to throw that jump off. GTJ had a good example layup where he was going 90band hit a couple slow steps getting the defender under the hoop too far to block him. Kuz just goes 90, slow down bro.. sounds weird to say after talking about wanting speed but that's a main feature is that change of speed

Kuzma has the classic $M move,10 cent finish kinda game but he brings a lot of movement/action to hole offense that was needed.

Great win against a good team.

Bucks still not doing well on the road.

Bucks with the worst 4th quarter offense in the NBA is crazy. I wonder if that has anything to do with Giannis and Lillard being gassed late in the game playing heavier minutes overall? You would think the 4th quarter is when the two superstars would shine and take over.

This game, Jokic might have been a bit tired in Q4. He had 6 points on 2 of 3 shooting, but was 2 of 4 from the FT line, had no rebounds, only 1 assist, 2 turnovers and 2 fouls in 7:03 minutes. He played 30:28 of the first three quarters.

Denver was generally successful forcing the ball out of Lillard's hands. He only got 9 FGAs in 35-minutes. And only 4 assists. Ball movement really falls off when he is probing for a way to attack.

Giannis took, and made, more jump shots outside the paint than within the paint. Wonder if that is a strategic effort to baby his calf.

Too bad Connaughton is nicked up. Tonight was Rollins' final game as a 2-way contract player this season. Won't see him again this season unless they convert him to a standard contract. Likely to happen by the March 4 deadline for playoff eligibility if a better option does not surface on the buyout market.

There was that long sequence in the third quarter without a stoppage when the starters were in. They all got winded.

Didn't get a chance to watch this one but what stands out from the box score is +19 Kuzma in 37 minutes, Giannis 19 boards, Brook 37 mins... And MPJ Gordon & Westbrook combining for 13/48 that's so terrible.

his defense and energy is having the same impact pj tucker had. i had no idea he could defend like he can. trying to take him off the dribble is a dam chore.

his rebounding and just being able to play the most minutes of everybody with alot of pace and bounce is worth far more than if hed have made a couple extra buckets. i think if you didnt look at the boxscores at all and just watched the game youd never have a problem other than maybe some of the 3's he takes but all the guys shoot dumb 3's.

good stat or bad stat who cares but his net rating of +19 says it all to me

If we would've teamed Kuzma with a Middleton we'd have something. Should've moved Dame. Could have got Kuzma plus a bunch of actually good players.

It's been weeks since someone threw Giannis a lob. That used to be such easy offense for us.

Dame swallowed his ego and played hard some defense in the 2nd half. That produced winning basketball. Took just 1 shot that half. Finished the game with just 4 assists and 4 turnovers, but the offense rolled.
