Let's see this team make the same run while ant was on the bench for much of the 4Q last game
Ant said “that’s a fuc*ing foul.” If you drop the F word with a ref that can be enough. Worse still by throwing the ball into the stands he pretty much made sure it won’t get reversed.
P.S I watched the game on replay on Fanduel Sports north 2. Comcast 963. It was available on that channel live, but the guide did not have it listed, so the DVRs picked up the NBA tv broadcast which is of course blacked out.

Re: 60: MN v LAL
Just look the replay. Except 1st quarter , we play well.
- Nice to see DDV coming back and playing well. He will start again soon.
- ANT was..... ANT. But we play better without him tonight.
- Refs were as usual with Fakers, 46 FT to 26 FT.... the usual b...sht
- We shoot not well enough at 3 ( except DDV and Mike at 50%), 29% can't win you a game in modern NBA unless you are the Lakers
- TSJ was huge, big energy, great defense. Another guy proving he is an NBA player.
- NAZ could not hit a bucket....night like this can happen.

That Clark on Reaves foul was ridiculous
When Reaves says “I didn’t think you touched me,” and we challenge, and the video shows there was no contact, that is how you know the game is rigged. Or that graphic that showed Ant at 16 techs when he only had 15. That is the crack in the 4th wall.

As poorly as Naz played, as poorly as Jaden played, as much as the Ant ejection hurt, and even with the other things going wrong, a properly officiated game is likely a Wolves win.

Reaves got 2 times 3FT, one from Mike and one from Clark where there was clearly no foul at all. Refs decide who win tonight.

Ant can’t be trusted right now. A lot of ppl complained about Towns but not once did he get ejected for techs I believe. Ant is worse than Karl ever was with complaining.

Karl was more noticeable and annoying, it also at times would lead to fast breaks and other plays while he complained so it was painful. On top of that, I truly believe it made the ref situation worse for the whole team, at least for him.
That said, Ant is getting really bad. It's not as noticeable or distracting but its more severe in the sense that he's getting technicals. He doesn't foul or get quite as bad treatment as Towns did from the refs but he is now known as a guy who you can T up and its a bad reputation to have. Also like Towns, I think it actively hurts the team. It could get worse too, they might start swallowing his whistle more and start calling more ticky tack stuff for him like they do Towns.
This needs to be nipped in the bud NOW because you will not win a war against the officials.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

Ant came into the game knowing he had 14 techs. He knew what happens when he gets to 16. He knows the playoff situation and his importance to this team. If he could nip it in the bud he would. Ant shoving V8 was just dumb. He knew he would get tech but let an old teammate/friend get under his skin. He follows that up with an f bomb against a ref who doesn’t like him. Even then he throws the ball into the stands, (can he pick up a 3rd tech post ejection?) All of this is on top of the fines for his cursing on television and the multiple times the mics have heard him yell the F or N words. Ant is what he is, and unfortunately his judgement is getting worse.

I have to disagree with this point. Every game I find myself watching him not get back on defense and leaving his teammates hanging. Yes, Karl complained but Ant is demonstrative towards the refs and it hurts him and the team.
There’s no excuse for the behavior at this point with being five years in. There’s also something to be said about the team performing better when he goes to the bench but that’s another discussion (small sample size).

Re: 60: MN v LAL
Agree 100%. KAT has had one (1) technical foul in the last two (2) years combined. That came earlier this year after a tussle with Franz Wagner fighting for a rebound, not whining or being disrespectful towards the Refs.Guest84 wrote:winforlose wrote:Calinks wrote:Karl was more noticeable and annoying, it also at times would lead to fast breaks and other plays while he complained so it was painful. KAT is an overly emotional player on the court. Ant is immature, childish and exudes a sense of entitlement that he has yet to earn.
It's a real problem.

Re: 60: MN v LAL
According to ESPN Research, Edwards is the first player to receive 16 technical fouls before March since DeMarcus Cousins in 2016-17. Edwards has been called for four technical fouls in four games since the All-Star break.

Re: 60: MN v LAL
Both are bad. I think KAT's were more noticeably grating and yea it was a huge pain when he would be screaming and the opposing team would go on a break. Edwards isn't as demonstrative but his are also bad because he is getting techs (KAT rarely got techs) and those are becoming a big problem. Ant still doesn't foul as much overall as KAT does though which was another thing that killed us in some games, it was at its worst in the 2022-2023 season I feel, he got better in his final season here.

Finch isn’t a championship coach, much less a consistent deep playoff coach. He’s a decent coach for a young group that can get you a competitive team.
This team needs the next level of coaching. I often allude to Doug Collin’s or Dell Harris. Guys who had nba hall of fame talent and couldn’t make it work. It’s no shame to Chris. He’s just not there. But, we’re also probably not going to stumble upon Phil Jackson either.

How many Hall of Fame talents finished the game last night?
