Joe will not diverge from his original premeditated rotation. Most of the times Boston has so much talent it doesn't matter.

Would have been awesome if Scheierman, Peterson, Walsh or Torrey Craig could have given 15-20 minutes with guys out and PP struggling…

Also Luke -26 tonight. Cleveland was the series, even with Jarrett Allen not playing, that Kornet got exposed last year. I love Luke but he couldn’t defend Mobley nor keep Mobley off the glass last playoffs or again in this game

Talking about trade Jrue so Pritch can start. Okay if yall say so! That’s not against PP, that’s misunderstanding what Jrue does and especially how we don’t win last season without him! PERIOD!

Pritchard still worries me a lot. I just can’t see him being much in the playoffs. I’d sell high next year if we can.

Cleveland had everybody there and got cooked relentlessly by the Jays. Zero chance they beat the Celtics in a best of 7 if Holiday or Porzingis are in there, nvm both.

Just stay healthy.

Ouch, From Up 22 (25-3) to losing by 7.... 29 Point Swing. And they finally decided to play some D late in Q4. Too bad they had no answer for Garland or Mitchell. And Mobley is a Two Way Star as well. 3 STUD players with some shooters who can defend. And they shot well tonight. It was a 7 point loss, but over 48 minutes, besides the defensive lapses, it came down to:

Refs called the Celtics for 5 More Fouls than Cleveland

Celtics made 4 more Turnovers than Cleveland (Cleveland really protected the ball with only 7 Turnovers in a Statement game)

Cleveland had 4 more Rebounds

That's 13 more possessions just from the above.

So Cleveland shot 45-94 overall vs 43-89 for Celtics. That'll do it.

Cleveland had 2 more Free Throws, and missed one less than the Celtics.

Tatum and Brown were phenomenal, but no one else on the Celtics really played well.

Cleveland also got solid games from Jared Allen, D'Andre Hunter and Isaac Okoro.

Payton Pritchard is a cute little story, but if he continues to be a zero in big games against the teams we're gonna run into in the Playoffs then play someone who actually can defend.

Joe needed to develop one more wing just for situations like this. But most of the year it was eight on nine man rotation with cornet playing double big. It's like Joe has absolutely no foresight. PP howser and Cornett may do well against most teams in the regular season, but developing Walsh or Peterson from the first week of this season may have helped a situation like this or at least Boston getting another wing. But Joe continues to prove he does not need another wing with all his double big lineup. Who would have thought Al and Cornett couldn't anchor this defense..shocker.

Yes with Boston fully healthy they will have enough bodies to overcome bad situations. But being down one single player often makes me worried. Joe cannot coach his team up he needs a coaching advantage in talent.

They almost beat us every game IN THE SAME EXACT WAY!! Get JB away from DM and he’ll cook in the second half! Not one adjustment! If they are switching JB off DM there is no way you haven’t thought of something else by now! EVERY GAME IS THE SAME WAY!! JB on his behind in the first half, keep him away and cook after that!! Craig may be poop but damn, TRY IT!! He has been a his defender in his NBA life!!! How hard would it be for him to learn, “hey, they do switch you onto DM when JB is on him. Literally all they have done in every game that JB played! Hell put Tatum up there, make them have to beat one of the jays, not Hauser every time down!! Cesus Jhrist!!!

And he will sit on the bench because Joe won't play him despite overwhelming evidence that what he's doing is not working.

It's hard to believe Joe sat there watching Hauser get killed play after play and didn't use any of the options on his bench. Felt like he took the fourth quarter off.

A sneaky weakness of this team is the lack of playable athletes off the bench. Al, Sam, Luke and PP are valuable but they're all below average athletes by NBA standards.

Good game to watch…all starters played high minutes…perfectly fine to take a loss rather than push it too hard, this game does not matter in the scheme of things.

This kind of thing happened last year too and many lost their heads about it, but Joe handled things very differently when the playoffs came and I expect him to do the same this year.

Yeah, this is a real possibility.

Has he been bad against the top teams? I honestly wouldn’t know. We already worry about the defense but he must provide offense, whether scoring, getting inside and dishing. I hope he’ll be fine, he’s been so good this season! Love his fight!

Mobley ate our "bigs" for breakfast

They need to figure out an answer for Mitchell, he's dominated every single game. Double team if you have to and let Wade, Strus, Okoro, etc. beat you

That challenge that Tatum insisted on early-on was a killer. So many questionable calls later that we couldn't do anything about

Once again failed to protect home court. Ugh just a very disappointing loss given the way we started

Shades of the OKC game with that second half...

Hauser a team high +18. Who should have Joe used more instead? Peterson? Doubt he would have defended better than Hauser. Pritchard? Team worst -36. Kornet? Team second worst -26. All others don’t afford Boston the offensive spacing Hauser provides while on court.
