It’s the organisations fault for not tanking steps to ensure we are bad. Players themselves don’t tank.

Play in doesn’t prevent us from winning the lottery.

It does if they beat 2 bad Hawks and Heat teams which is entirely possible. But I'm sure people would be screaming about how great that is.

I think there is only one person here that would be happy with that.

I think we were locked into 8th anyway, so the W won't change the lotto odds IMO.
Happy for all the dads who have to pay like $800 to take a family to the UC these days they got a win.

The best thing for the tank would be bench Collins and get Vuc back as starting center, he killed it out there just being a normal center who defends the rim, dunks, and hustles. +27 when he was out on the floor, that's a tank killer.

Another strong game from Giddey. Not great efficiency, but still stuffed the stat sheet. 12 assists to only 1 turnover is outstanding.

Disagree, Bulls fans get pumped up about the play-in every year. They'll never get it and this is why Reinsdorf is allowed to keep this franchise in NBA Hell

I cant be mad when its Lonzo is hitting shots in the clutch.

We arent out of it yet. We have a really tough schedule to go. We can still get down to 6

if you wiped the past few years away from your memory and this current team was the team we drafted and we had all our lottery picks for the next few years would we feel better about the spot we r in?

No, this franchise is just as directionless as ever

Some of your expectations are too high lol. We're supposed to beat the Raptors, they're bad. 18 wins. If our young guys couldn't beat them, that would be more worrying. We only got to overtime by a 4 point play. Nobody really expects Billy to try to lose, do they? Or that he should be coaching to lose? I can see being upset if we beat the Nuggets or Celtics. :)

Probably , we've been stuck in the mud for years so naturally the fan base is a little jaded .

Problem is the teams below the Bulls in the East are all somehow worse than the bulls and of course are tanking as well.

Im pumped baby ! Where’s play in legend Patrick Beverley? We need him, sign him now!

Reinsdorfs are also pumped if they make a play in game, means they will earn extra millions. Hey if we were owners we wouldn’t say no to that lol.

That's my point IF we had been building via the draft and had this current team would we feel better than we do after the debacle of let's say Bulls since the Butler trade...

Would we be in a better direction.

I want Cooper Flagg too, but this game was fun and was won on the backs of young players. Honestly, this team is starting to get fun again. This game in particular gave me 04 Bulls vibes.

A lot of players who have been counted out are making their presence felt on this team. Collins is looking pretty special.

I said earlier in the season this team was aiming for the play-in, trading LaVine didn't change that.

23 ppg 11 rpg 9 apg 2.6 sbpg 54% FG 66% 3P, +/- +12.

We are 2-7 since trading Lavine. And one was an overtime win against one of the few worse teams. The Bulls can’t make the whole putrid East play better.

10th seed looking secure with an incoming pick in the 8-9 range. Mission accomplished!

I’m not sure what some of you are complaining about. We aren’t going to lose every single game the rest of season. I guess you all don’t care how well some of our young players(mainly Giddey) already on the team are playing. It’s all about extra 2 or 3 percent chance to move up in the lottery.

No Zach. No Vuc. We are being competitive solely on back young players and guy who had not played in 2 seasons. Give me a break!

Fun game, good effort. Toronto REALLY gave it away with stupid plays

Have to say, both teams played hard-I saw no tanking going on. We seem to be set at the 10th seed, and the 8th lotto spot

I'd rather stay there then move to the 7th spot, and lose 20 games in a row. I still enjoy watching spirited basketball, and we have young guys to keep our interest

Return to Chicago Bulls
