Lebron James is the MVP this year. Sure Jokic has stats, Shai has wins BUT Lebron is FORTY. 40... lool. What he is currently doing is more impressive than the other 2. Just like the stats Jokic is posting, NOBODY in NBA history has done what Lebron is doing this year. He's got stats and W's. If Jokic can win as the 6th seed Lebron should get this one.

Jokic's opponent dropped 22 points on the other end, but yeah, great game on one side of the ball, as per usual.

Duren with 8 points last night, 6 of them on Jordan 2 on Jokic. I guess Jokic was great on defense last night?   :banghead:

Jokic makes doing stuff like this look so easy that people are legitimately taking it for granted at this point. Those numbers, on that efficiency, while going 10-2 and sitting out the entire 4th quarter of numerous games...it's just mind boggling.

Jokic has never played with an All Star. Meanwhile, LeBron is playing next to an All NBA first teamer, again.

8-1 in the playoffs in two consecutive seasons wasn't enough?

It's definitely more impressive, but that doesn't make him better, or more deserving for the MVP. But yeah, it's pretty amazing what he does, for sure.

He has played with all stars  do you mean he’s never played with one who got elected as an all star THAT season?

Are you referring to DeAndre Jordan? Russ? Millsap perhaps?

So all stars? You can’t just say he’s never played with an all star  it’s just false. Kind of semantics, but it’s just weird

They’re certainly not all star caliber. As opposed to current all nba talent.

I mean that’s fine. But they were all stars  it’s just saying something that isn’t true. He’s an amazing player, he doesn’t need a blatant lie

He's never had an active all star as a teammate, that is 100% true. Deandre Jordan being an all star 10 years ago doesn't mean much does it?

That should be said then. I see people say he’s never played with one at all. I see people clamoring about how good Russ is this year as well… past all star. Let’s be more clear when we say things or people who don’t know much about the NBA would think Jokic has only played with bums his career

Relatively speaking he has played with bums his entire career. Find a former MVP who has a lesser supporting cast than the Joker has had in his career. You won’t find one, they’ve all played with multiple all star or all nba or all defense teammates. Joker hasn’t had any.

Jokic is playing with a dude who at one point averaged 47.3 ppg in 3 consecutive games.. in a playoffs series and scored 40 points in game 7. But yeah not an all-star caliber eventhough he has as much as 50 point games in playoffs as LeBron and Kobe combined.

And Murray has been that version of himself twice in the past 5 postseasons. And Denver reached the WCF and won a chip in the other one.
That tells you what would happen if Jokic always played with an all star.

Yeah Murray averaged 26 5 7 during the playoffs title run. That’s all star numbers. Give Jokic a healthy Murray then you will see.

He's healthy enough to play 43 minutes and scored 35 points against the Wolves in Game 7 last playoffs. They got outplayed in the 2nd half and allowed the biggest comeback in Game 7 history being up by 20 in the 3rd quarter while Jokic was -23 in the 2nd half. It is what it is, Joker is 0-5 in a playoffs series against any team who won atleast 50 games for his entire career. Don't get me wrong, I'm one of his biggest fan and I hope we're going to see him and his squad to overcome that obstacle this time around in 2025 playoffs.
