What does Alvin Williams bring to the Raptors broadcasts?

He's gotten better, but is still not very good. He trips over his own words constantly and goes around in circles, kinda distracting during a game tbh. He's not terrible, but makes watching the games a little less enjoyable for me vs the TSN broadcasts.

PArt of this is that SN broadcasts in general seem amateur compared to TSN

The broadcasts are differentiated by the on air people of course. But is it still true the people in "the truck" are the same crew for Raptors games on both networks? I think that was the case in the past, same directors, producers, camera guys etc. So the complaints about replays making us miss live action, closeups of the guy who just scored, or bench reaction shots, causing the viewer to miss live action, were equally bad on either network. Because it's the same production crew.

He's improved at least, but yeah still not a big fan. I enjoy when Vince is doing the broadcast. I remember when everyone on here hated Leo and now he seems like a fan favorite

Disagree. I find SportsNet much more professional than TSN, which seems to showcase and cater to on-air talent who want to be loud and interrupt each other, talk a lot and talk very quickly.

Alvin is really really bad. I just don't like his monotone voice and jumbled sentences. Really hope he is replaced because he makes games unwatchable at times.

That being said there are some terrible commentary teams in NBA and Raps aren't even close to the bottom.
