His 3pt shooting has been a pleasant surprise the last few games. Tough to do, but hope he can maintain a decent percentage from 3 for the rest of the year. Atleast enough to keep the defense honest, as I don't expect him to keep hitting dagger 3s like he did against the Pacers.

Im going to be optimistic & expect we work our magic w/ him & he continues to show consistency in his improved shooting here. We’ll take it one gm at a time & see how he keeps performing. Our players are very keen w/ him though. he’s a solid engine to run this team.

I think it’s Beal being an environment where he’s not able to thrive playing nxt to Book & Kd. He becomes redundant. Make no mistake about it, had we signed him, w/ his skillset, we wld maximise him the same w/ every other player we’ve acquired. Suns, like many are a bad organisation. Even Booker is wasting away there & kd wants out. Nobody is improving there.

Beal would have had the same issues here being redundant with Herro. Suns have a major roster construction problem and Beal is untradeable. That teams needs a big defensive point forward for any shot at making Beal and Booker work.

Phoenix needs to accept that they done f'ed up and trade Durant and Booker for whatever they can get. Then ride out Beal's awful contract. I'm sure Beal can still score 30 pts a night if he takes every shot. It may even boost his trade value in his final season.

I think it’s very possible this team finishes the year well and can beat anybody in the East in a 7 game series aside from Boston.

We are a very strange team, but if Spo can get a handle on things he could make this team really hard to beat in the playoffs.

I have a very strong feeling that we are not trading in the off-season, but going the free agent route And if bam, herro, ware, mitchell ...continue their slow development no big free agents are being acquired either

arisons Are not giving up even one cent...recuperating time

We don’t have any money to pursue free agents other then our own and some cap gymnastics need to be done in order to get a good number below the tax line in order to retain Mitchell in free agency who will be a RFA.

Duncan will have to renegotiate his ETO or else he’ll be walking as his 10 million non guaranteed is needed to get below the line in order to compete with resigning Mitchell and staying below the line to avoid the heavy repeater tax. They are only 2 million from getting under this year but once Burks is off the books and the slight increase next year should give us the wiggle room we need.

Duncan either gets released next year and he gets his 9 mil guaranteed and free to sign anywhere else while he carry the 10 mil in dead money for a year or we negotiate with Duncan on a two year 18-20 mil deal with team option. Most likely he renegotiates and we get the wiggle room we need to sign Mitchell and our draft pick.

Outside improvements will be made via trade by first dangling the expiring’s of Rozier and Anderson with young assets such JJJ, Jovic, and 2025 pick after selection made. If a bigger deal is made for a star player Wiggins may need to be involved. If no star player is involved just keep maintaining flexibility and adding pieces that may help but maintain flexibility in 2026 that includes a deal for players like Sexton and Collins.

We've overpaid Duncan enough for one lifetime. Let him walk.

Wade talked about how the process of negotiations led him to leave. Even though at the end the Arisons offered him the money he wanted, signing Whiteside before him and Pat having to have Arison approve his new deal led him to move on.

I had always felt signing Whiteside first was what broke the relationship. I had always felt the Heat should have let Whiteside sign with Dallas.
