Seems like every time it's time for the organization to take it to next level their incompetence gets exposed, meaning it was there the whole time. Execs just happy where they are, getting paid, get along ganging it with no pressure. But most of us who been following this franchise since it's inception know this. The fans suffer. Keep getting dem checks Weltman, Martins, Devos.

I’m not killing the medical staff.

Suggs had a bad quad bruise. He was rehabbing it and hurt his knee at the very end of his quad rehab process.

Nothing really beyond that it doesn’t appear.

Eh, I don't think that's fair. Hennigan and Gabriel builds were flunkies but Otis and Williams got us to the finals.

i can't even be shocked anymore......it's so sad i just had to chuckle

I know this isn’t a thread about the owners BUT something has to be said about them and the total mismanagement of the team from the top to the bottom. So many injury and odd injuries this season on top of it all. And the DeVos family just keep getting a pass.

About time realgm magic board buys the team.

The current solution is to do nothing indefinetely and see how it goes. If nothing changes till the end of the season they will do a surgery. Dude is indefinetely day to day.

This sounds much less nefarious, especially coming directly from Suggs, than the last four pages of this thread would lead you to believe.

The pressers from Coach and then from Suggs himself stated some facts.

1) Until the bruise healed Suggs had not told the team that his knee was an issue.
2) There was no MRI done until a couple days ago, as Suggs did not inform about the knee.
3) In Suggs words (paraphrased), "while I planned to return, God had other plans".
4) Suggs targets "before this off-season" to return.
4b) Coach does not have such a target.

Summed up, this is newly known and thus Orlando is only just working out a treatment timeline.

I can’t find any videos of this injury, does anyone have one they can post? Things just don’t add up from the original diagnosis of quad contusion all the way back to his past two injuries to that left knee.

All things considered, a knee scope isn’t a huge deal in the grand scheme of things.

Probably only a 6-8 week rehab honestly.

This is a simple surgery and hopefully addresses the issue. Sounds like cartilage doesn’t need a graft.

I’m ok with this.

I would love to give Oladipo a shot.

They aren’t going to do anything like that. They’re kicking the can down the road again. With now getting heat for inactivity, my guess is Weltman will play what they have in hopes to boost their value (probably will do the opposite) for a trade In off season for a disgruntled player or a team that wants to rebuild and or will use the draft to “improve”. This is his MO.

While its possible to bring back in time for play in, I would just shut him down. This is a lost season. I just want to make it to the offseason with one of our trios not getting injured again.

I understand when some of you say this is a lost season but there's value in everything.

While we won't make damage in the playoffs, we can still develop, we can still increase the trade value of guys, and we can still create winning habits.

It's up to the FO, coaches, and players to make the best of this, and we as fans should too.

The seasons keep coming.

Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

This season menu is on our hands already.
We maybe go to 500, sure go 7 or 8 seed, maybe win a playin game, probably win a second try game anyway and we probably go down in 5 or 6 to Cavs or Boston.
With Suggs or without him, so hope to see him at full health next season.
