You also have the rumblings of them open to trading Aiyuk.

If that trade happens I'd say there would be a pretty good chance they go WR with #11 at that point

With the Deebo trade that gives them 11 picks to work with in this draft.

Lynch has mentioned they want to get the roster younger so I wouldn't be surprised if they use those picks but I imagine we'll do some trading up.

Hopefully they copy whatever they did last draft because while it's obviously early but it looks like their 1st 5 picks could end up being hits.

Jared Wilson HAS to be a target for us, maybe even in the 2nd round at this point

Membou, Campbell, and Banks all tested/measured great. at least one should be available to us at 11.

Probably not with arms under 33". Lots of teams will see him as a guard now.

it was already priced in that he has under 33" arms, it was not priced in that he was this athletic

With the way these linemen have measured I'm feeling more strongly they go OT at #11 unless there is a crazy run on them in the top 10.

We all know Shanahan prizes athleticism in offensive line especially at OT and it's a position that quickly gets scooped up and the quality falls off hard so if you're in position to get a stud at position you have to take it.

These guys are measuring so well I wouldn't be shocked if we don't go with IOL in the 2nd round which I'd be totally down with because if we can potentially upgrade the 3 trouble spots on the line in LG, C, and RT with 2 good rookies and a serviceable vet at C that could be huge for the offense.

They could just go crazy with defensive picks the rest of the way. Because I've maintained that the defense doesn't really need superstar talent but just a lot of good players to raise the talent floor of the defense.

Shorter arms, yes. Under 33" seems new, though.

Skoronski is the only guy I can think of with comparable arm length who has significant starting experience at OT recently. He was considered maybe the best OL in that class, but then had sub-33" arms and most teams saw him as a guard. He started out there before moving to OT. Athletically he was similar to Campbell, with better jumps but a slightly slower 40 (though his 10 and 20 were almost identical, and those are much more important for an OL than the actual 40).

Skoronski still went 11th, so Campbell going in the top-10 would not be a shock - particularly as this OT draft lacks elite prospects at the position. But I think the combine makes it more likely that Banks is the first OT off the board.

i think there is a chance Membou is actually the first OT taken, but yes, Banks also settled a lot of questions

Membou definitely has a shot, particularly in light of his combine. Though I hate that so many guys opt out of the agility drills these days. For OL, I'd much rather have that info than a 40 time.

btw, Membou and Campbell join only Tristan Wirfs and Trent Williams at the combine in 315+ lb OTs that ran sub 5.0 and had 30+ verts.

That's why the 49ers need to draft Campbell if he falls for some reason. Just like they thought Mac Jones would not fall by trading up to get him initially. If Campbell doesn't fall, then take Simmons at 11. Drafting any other position with the first pick would be a mistake which led to their downfall once Trent got hurt.

Simmons would be my OT1 and maybe #1 overall pick player if it wasn't for his ACL injury

he said he might be ready to do a workout mid April, let's see
