Lol as a mom she's probably mad the last shot wasn't for Paolo. The play worked perfectly, Franz just blew the shot. Mom needs to stay out of it, even if some things are true. Her perspective is Paolo-centric, not Magic-centric, and thus will never be worth anything.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

I don’t think losing Mosley would change literally anything negatively.

He’s fine. I like him. But coaches are hired to be fired. I have absolutely no problem going a different direction.

It’s a tough business, but he knows what’s up.

I get that coaches are the easiest thing to flip.

I just refuse to think a coach that gets unprompted praise from stars of other teams and coaches of other teams like no one we've ever had is going to get canned for a bad two month stretch with ZERO moves from our front office to get the team better.

We've been good ever since we started 5-20 two seasons ago. Finished the second half really strong with a team full of children.

Had an above average year last year with top 3 defense and pushed the Cavs to 7 games.

Stayed 4th seed on pace for 50+ wins until the wheels started coming off the last two months.

The punishment doesn't seem to match the crime of struggling badly the last few months.

I don’t agree.

They’re gonna drop from 47 wins to like 37 year over year and their two best players will have played more than enough combined games for that to just be unacceptable.

I also don’t really think coaches improve all that much over time either. I think coaches come in with a handful of things they do really well which they implement immediately, and then eventually the players get sick of hearing them over and over, stop doing the handful of things the coach brought to the table, and ultimately they get fired.

And sometimes that shift just happens REALLY FAST, ya know?

Whether we win in the playoffs or not, what these guys need is playoff experience. It will be more beneficial for Franz and Paolo, than sitting home doing nothing. This team need a point guard, better vets, and more experienced shooters. What we don’t need is another lottery pick to develop.

I guess for a lot people the thought is the higher the draft pick the more valuable it would be in a potential trade.

Except Jeff is in charge so why would anyone think that?

Good for her, there is a clear lack structure and focus on offense. Salaries hitting will fix some of that. Trading Cole will fix some of that.

Paolo didn’t start taking shots until 4 mins left in the fourth. There is no reason he should be only talking 5 shots in the last few mins of a game or 8 shots total. This team can’t afford him to do such a thing.

Mavs fans were advocating for Jason Kidd to get fired for missing the playoffs after acquiring Kyrie two seasons ago. Then they made the finals the next year lol. Because the front office was actually active and got them big men and added pieces. Had no bearing on whether Kidd was a good or bad coach. I don't think he's particularly special.

That's just an example of how just about everything is dictated by personnel.

Adrian Griffin had a good record with the Bucks but the vibe was off and they made a move, Doc came in, they kinda sucked last year. Slightly better this year but still just eh.

Suns fired Vogel for losing in the first round and then hired Budenholzer and have a worse team.

So, I mean, if we just want to play merry-go-round with coaches just to "make a move" .. sure?

I really hope that Paolo's family is not part of this. This has nothing to do with them.
Also, parents and agents should have no say so on what is going on and they don't need to chime in. They are not playing and aren't with the team.

Paolo’s Mom needs to keep speaking out. It’s likely the best chance we have.

He’s their son. A budding superstar who is clearly not benefitting from Moseley. I kinda wish parents wouldn’t air dirty laundry, but in this case, I encourage it.

Weren't last week people saying Paolo and Franz shot too much because they had like 50 shots combined and nobody else had anything?

Nobody knows what they want from this team.

It’s not even the offense that alarms me because that’s been bad since the day Mosley got here and at least some of that can be explained away by personnel.

It’s the fact that this team in a matter of about 6 weeks went from one of the best defensive teams in the league to a very average defensive team.

They went from a team that played hard and “made people feel them” defensively and on the glass, to a team that that is routinely (almost every single night at this point) outworked and out hustled and out physical-ed.

If Mosley’s defense and effort and physicality mantras are falling on deaf ears at this point, then he very obviously has to go. Even if everyone loves him.

We're starting to be legit contenders for a 7th-9th pick in the lottery with 26-37% odds of jumping into the top 4 lottery.

With Mo out permanently, Suggs out potentially the rest of season, Paolo and Franz still looking less springy than last season, the super young ages of our core 3 and others, all of it adds up to maybe dropping the star forwards' MPG, and playing anyone under 24 like AB, TDS, Cole and Jett a ton. Just seems like a down season for many ORL players too.

The Magic can afford seasons based on the core 3's ages. So a lottery pick is locked cap money that can maybe be a roll of a dice near the impact as Franz's 8th pick selection and JI's 6th pick selection (in his bigger games, and better health/fitness).

Mock draft has like 5-6 guards in the first consensus top 7 picks. Could be a future starter alongside Suggs. Maybe even a trade-up piece or blockbuster trade piece.

No. We don't need parents calling out coaches in public. I don't have a twitter account nor do I look at her account but I am 100% sure she wasn't calling out Paolo publicly when he had his horrible stretch of inefficiency (whether is was injury or not), and therefore when she is calling out the coach it's just pure bias and it effects the team even more. She doesn't need to be involved in this.

Yeah he was solid. Could always give a lot more on defense but he was working the pass and working off the ball nicely.

He played well but he was too passive until the last few mins of the game. He needs to take more than 9 shots.
