To be fair this is compared against consensus. So someone like Kitan Crawford is currently 530th on the consensus board and I have a draftable grade on him. Caleb Ransaw(274th) & Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins(267th) are guys where the consensus is very low but I had them as good day 3 targets.

Maxwell Hairston, Shemar Stewart, Jared Wilson, & Jacob Parrish all tested really well and are all very young so my model likes them.

It's hard to have any sort of accurate rating until all the top guys do their pro days.

I'm kind of done with height/weight/speed guys who somehow couldn't dominate college competition.

For the 1st round I might agree with the premise, when we get into the middle to late rounds give me the guys with the tools to work with and develop, especially if they are young and haven't had as much time to develop.

Agreed, especially when there are a lot of height/weight/speed guys who did dominate college competition.

Just say no to Shemar Stewart in the first.

The good news for you guys is the odds of Shemar Stewart falling to pick 23 for Green Bay seem pretty low. If he's on the board by chance though I think the Packers would be very interested(as would I)

Can't complain about taking Barron there. It's definitely a need and he's awesome.

But given how Hafley's scheme prioritizes versatile DBs I'd take a long look at Nick Emmanwori.

Good call, I feel like he would be a good pick as he fits all of Gute's favorite attributes and his production has grown every year. I don't feel safety is a position of need while we have McKinney, Evan Williams duo and I think Bullard/Oladapo both showed promise last year. Would rather find a true corner if we are taking a DB in the first.

But I always say, draft the best player no matter the position. If Emmanwori ends up being another Ed Reed or even Kyle Hamilton and we pass on him for another Kevin King/Eric Stokes type then it does us no good.

I like Jayden Higgins in Watson’s role. Big, athletic, explosive and productive. Not as fast but has good hands and tracks the deep ball well.

Yeah, I was hoping for a pass rusher or DT in the first, Higgins in the third round and Azareyeh in the second, but looks like thanks to their combine numbers and recent hype they will be drafted higher.

However, Jah Joyner had a horrible combine and could fall. I think he will be a productive pass rusher in the NFL.

No chance James Pearce Jr is a 1st round pick now. Horrible character reports coming out about him.

Unless Pearce has some type of off the field issues like Mike Green has, saying he has "Horrible Character reports" seems like GM's (looking at you Howie Roseman) trying to mess with his draft stock to get him to fall a bit. His talent is too good to pass up if he's just a prick or something like that. Hopefully we'll get more details on what the concerns are.

Looks like he only runs two routes, but he can give you some of what Watson provided. Can’t teach 6’5 with 4.30 speed.

Only 65 catches over 4 years is weird. He was a 7th round pick before the combine. Size and speed is important, but the lack of production is a red flag.

Benjamin Morrison always has some of the best metrics out of this CB class. I wonder how the hip surgery is going to affect his draft stock.

Morrison and Will Johnson are wild cards at the CB position. Either could be a top ten pick or fall to us d/t injury concerns.

I'm not buying the character concern charade. He's an explosive pass rusher that teams like the Chiefs & Eagles are hoping will drop. Getting a ticket in 2023 for driving with illegally tinted windows and doing 63 mph in a 35 isn't enough to push me away. He might be a little immature but we all were at some point.

23. Green Bay Packers: Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon
Harmon (6-4 1/2, 313) was one of only two defensive tackles weighing more than 305 pounds to run under 5.00 seconds in the 40-yard dash — he did it in 4.95. His athleticism off the ball was reflected in his FBS-best 55 pressures last season.

Sign me up for some of that.

Gimme Jahdae Barron. Ironically he's the dude that reminds me most of Jaire in this class.
