If I were coach Bud I would make Book work on this in the gym and have the defense blitz him with double teams and see if he can't work on finding the roll man but I don't think Booker's ego will really allow him to work on those deficiencies.

Remember him bitching in the off season a while back when running some pro practices about being doubled? It made him come off like a whiner rather than respecting the opposing team feeling the need to double him. This is just one of the reasons people don't like him. For as much as he respects Kobe Bryant and wants to take parts of his game and mold them into his own, he sure doesn't seem to realize that putting things to action and rising above adversity is taken a lot more favorably than complaining about it instead.

What's the thing with not wanting to use the backboard when you're that close? It's why it exists! FFS. The lack of fundamental basketball at this level is astounding. It's like the all forget everything they've ever learned because they learned the game itself from playing NBA2K.

That was so many years ago dude. We gotta let that one die already. Compared to what other guys in the league have done, it's minor.

Hasn't changed anything. He's still awful coming out of doubles and seen as a whiner. You want to change that narrative? Do something about it and stop being that guy. He's in his prime and that time is running out quickly.

Ishiba and Jones got to trade Booker. He will bring in future assets and potentially help for KD and Beal, IF they don't want to rebuild completely.

Booker is just not on Edwards, SGA level and likely be surpassed by even someone like Jalen Williams, who is a legit 2 way player. Heck, Herro may catch up to Booker and he's younger. Just got to cash out before Booker slides further down the ladder of SGs.
