But they did. 3 major moves including one with Utah's picks.

I just don't know why he needs to bring this up after the deadline has passed. And I thought he's been in Ishibia's ear in building this superteam, and is he now publicly campaigning for JJ's job?

Oh this offseason is going to be legendary.

We don't have enough chips to bring a better player than him, a proper leader, so why even bother trying to 'stay competitive'. It's so foolish. We're losing more and more years in mediocricy. This is preposterous.

Booker is just not a true franchise player! And the fact that do many fans promote him as our franchise player just speaks to why no other teams take us seriously!

He's a great offensive player and talent, and one of my favorite players. But he's more of a 2nd tier 1B star like a Steve Smith, Mitch Richmond or a Brandon Roy before the leg/ knee issues ended his career.

He's just good enough to keep us outside the top of the lottery, but not good enough or truly elite enough to carry this team to a championship.

And even when we help by adding supposed high end star players, it's always older, mostly washed stars that are past their primes or in decline. :banghead:

Whoa.

Brandon Roy >> Booker.

Booker is a better looking Lavine with a nice looking shot. That is all.

He meant past deadline, that's how I read that.

So he meant a big move also... not tiny moves.

Ah okay

I thought it was weird and irony for Isiah Thomas of all people to come out and say the Suns are disconnected and needed to make a move...

Is it any different than Kendrick Perkins giving silly takes? Isiah Thomas can have a voice too even if most disagree with his take. God gave us a voice for a reason and we must use it whether we get a backlash for it or not.

Yes but he is part of this mess too. It's almost like JJ goes to twitter and says the Suns are disconnected as if he is not responsible

DirtyDez wrote:KD is picking his next team Shams said as much. KD has already played multiple seasons with Kyrie & Klay and played with AD on team USA. Houston has better assets but he’ll want to play with more established stars. Unless he thinks hitching his wagon to Wemby and making a playoff run will boost his legacy I see Dallas as the likely landing spot. We don’t have much leverage.

That's loser talk. Not that I'm calling YOU a loser, but that's what one would say.

They're gonna be a pool of a number of teams that he's fine with and we negotiate with those teams. We do not have to take whatever crumbs Dallas offe4s as they try and save themselves from the Luka nightmare.

Don't be surprised if you're rudely awakened by KD's actual trade value ie what teams are actually willing to pay for a 37yo player on an expiring contract as opposed to what we expect to get.

Wait so we trade Booker, but we still play him? That's a bold strategy Cotton, I like it!

We already saw his value.

Jimmy Butler, Jonathan Kuminga, 2 FRPs and multiple swaps and seconds.
