I mean, D'angelo Russell was their starting point guard. Even with good coaching it's hard to overcome that.

That dude started a line up of Taurean Prince, Cam Redish, Vanderbilt with LeBron and AD while sitting Reaves, Russell, Rui and Christie. I think he’d have invented ways to **** up if given a long enough leash.

That lineup had the surprising feature of producing the league's worst spacing and yet being mediocre defensively.

Didn't see the game, but read the box score. Was/Is Lebron just tired, possibly? That box score is pretty bad. However, how great is it to have somebody pick him up. Luka looks to have had a great game. BTW, not concerned about Lebron at all. The old guy was due to have a poor game sooner or later.

Looked sluggish and jumper was off.

Biggest sign of how fatigued / off he is a given game nowadays for me is the passing and turnovers.

Lue blitzed A ton (worked with more of the defensive slanted lineups), and I’d guess it got decent results - at least off of eye test.

I was checking the game and saw he had 4 t/o in the first quarter (coincidentally, so did Luka). Yeah, definitely not dogging, or even ankle biting, him. Just an observation. Like I said, he was due and he's been playing a lot lately. As jalengreen said, maybe a day off would do him some good. See if Luka can steal one by himself.

2 man game is still getting better. Every possession Luka is half-doubled needs to result in a 4v3, preferably with Lebron running the break instead of spotting in the corner. It's the first game Luka was truly crowded so they'll know what to do next time. the 15-19 Warriors basically broke the league off of 4v3s. Always ended a lob or a corner 3.

The game tomorrow would be a good time for LBJ to have a game off if Reaves can play....This is against the pelicans....The lakers have also so many games in this month, like 2 back to back against the Bucks and Denver...this is brutal!

So much dumb in one place. And it's probably all borne out of irrational hate of a human who has no power over them. Always love the Kobe fanboy take, too. Not only does Lebron have more points in aggregate, he averages more points per game on better shooting. It can't make sense for them, no matter how bad they want it to, so they act out as idiots.

memphis and houston keep losing.... lakers and den will end up the 2/3 seed and have to face each other round 2, and then face okc after that.

who would be tougher for lakers - okc or den? i still think its den

Playing the Clippers again after narrowly beating them the other night, down two starters in Reaves and Rui, atrocious in the turnover department, worst game LeBron plays in over a month, Kawhi scores the most points since 2023 and logs 40 minutes, playing a team that's top-5 in dRTG so far this season, and they still win? Yeah, very encouraging.

Lebron has to be the oldest Player of the Month in NBA history, no? At least for a wing? Unbelievable, what this guy is still doing.
