Challenging for worst owner in nba history!

Silver should seriously consider forcing Ishbia to sell the team so he can save the league from this embarrassment and institute the Ishbia rule that you cannot put pick swaps on consecutive years and handicap your team for years to come.

No owner in league history has more to damage their future prospects more than Ishbia has since he has taken ownership of the Suns.

It's a shame as to how poorly this season has turned out. Ishbia has destroyed our franchise. The only thing left to pull it off is to fire James Jones and install Isiah Thomas.

Warriors are now going to make the playoffs and that is 100% due to the Butler trade.

Too bad everyone on here was trashing Butler and saying he was damaged goods.

Butler was short term fix at best. And if they didn’t win - they would progressively get worse

The cost was way too much for the narrow chance

Butler sucks I wouldn’t want his services on his best days. He’s a whiny little brat that switches from team to team like a primoDonna Kevin Durant. I guess they both have something in common.

Yeah as I mentioned in a previous post, they are in a totally different position to us especially from a salary cap standpoint. For 1, they aren't even in the 1st apron right now which is a bit surprising given they've carried expensive rosters for probably a decade. For 2, they also don't actually have any massive salaries aside from Steph and now Jimmy would be the second big salary, unlike us who already had Book and KD when we brought in Beal. And 3, they have a lot of salaries coming off the books over the next year or so and so they can take that gamble despite having a lot of salaries now tied to Steph and Jimmy.

Even if you swapped KD for Jimmy, we're still going to have 3 massive $55m+ salaries and we're probably not going anywhere far even if we made playoffs.

Sneaky good throw in that'd address our rim pressure issue with his speed and high end athleticism and vertical burst.

A bone bruise and hyper extended knee injury? I wonder if this will obviously affect a KD to Dallas trade or not because they're for sure gonna move up into lottery range possibly 6-8 by the time the season ends? :D

Had a look at the standings just now

We're closer to the Spurs than we are to the Mavs

10th: Mavs: 3.5 games ahead
11th: Suns
12th: Blazers: 0.5 games behind
13th: Spurs: 2.0 games behind

Bro.

We need him in a KD trade. I'd do Jabari, him and our 27/29 and filler. He'd be a better version of Jalen but way cheaper and younger. Really need to root for a 1st round exit by HOU next month. All of us.

Mavs fans can't catch a break. The sad thing is their team plays harder with 2-way and 10-day contract players. Even with a disastrous roster situation with our schedule we'll have a hard time catching them. At least they'll own a lottery pick and the league may compensate them for the criminal Doncic trade, though even if they win the lottery fair, the rigged league suspicions will just multiply.

The news on Kyrie's injury extend may have impact on KD trade. From one side Mavs became even more desperate, but if it's a long term injury KD may take Mavs off his list.

It looks like he may have hyper extended the knee. I hope not though. Mavs fans don't need this after what Nico did to them.

Brandon Roy >> Booker.

Booker is a better looking Lavine with a nice looking shot. That is all.

Looking at their production, stats, efficiency, Booker has been measurably better overall. But for me, again they're not that far apart from one another in statistical comparison and style of play. I can also see and understand your comp for Lavine too! Sans the athleticism gap of course....lol.

I'll always have a soft spot for BRoy but Booker is almost certainly better as a scorer. Far more efficient and at high volumes. That said, Roy was a damn good defender, he was a really good playmaker (low turnovers too) and anecdotally, a more reliable and clutch player down the stretch

Yes.

Booker is a better scorer. Because Booker has that mentality.

But Roy was the better overall player.

In today's high tempo offense he would put up 25ppg 8apg 6rpg 2spg with really good IQ.

Comparing Roy stats to Booker when they played during completely different NBA environment will skew offensive numbers towards Booker since Roy's era was slow and grittier, less 3pt shots and spacing.

Next game @ Bucks and that’s 99% a loss for them.

IF we could finally get some momentum winning to the Clippers tonight we would be pretty close to that 10th seed. After the Luka trade the Mavs are done.

Do people actually remember Isiah Thomas tenure with the New York Knicks? Trading picks and young players for the stars who dont mesh well together only to... miss playoffs year after year. And he is close to Ishbia.
