Hawks are 5-5 in their last 10 games. Just imagine if Coach Quin actually let Zacch play extended minutes in the forth and have the ball to create for himself.

Now, we probably lose the next 5 games.

Orlando lost again tonight. Wakeup Coach Quin, you moron! Hawks are 27-32.

27-37 to come with Quin's garabge second half rotations.

Zacch locked fellow rookie Jaylen Wells down last night.

With Jalen out, it's time for Z to shine and get loose. No need for Quin to hold his hand now.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

He's been underrated.
He can create for himself but he must have the ball in his hands to get things going. Future star talent for us as I expected. I didn't expect Sarr to be as rough tho. Kel'el Ware has been fun to watch but I wish he wasn't on Miami.

I hope you're beginning to like Zacch.

I have definitely come around on him. He's a good kid and a solid prospect.

I was so low on him during the pre-draft process. But he won me over as a viable NBA player during Summer League. I saw the vision pretty quickly.

I still see him as more of an elite role player, a top 3 & D player who can defend 2-5 and push the ball in transition. Those types of players are integral to a championship squad.

Anything he develops beyond that is icing on the proverbial cake.

Elite role player?
Interesting. His shooting has been suspect at times but when he's allowed to create for himself he's more comfortable. Posting him up to only shot is holding him back.

I honest to god forgot Michael Cunningham even existed.
Had no idea he's still dishing out tepid takes for AJC Sports.

Spoiler:
Risacher is having a fine rookie season that hints at better things to come.

Risacher is still 19 years old. He’s not the typical No. 1 pick who is force-fed minutes and leading player responsibilities on a tanking team. Risacher is a role player for a team that’s trying to make the playoffs...

Hawks' Quin Snyder reveals 'unique' comparison for Zaccharie Risacher, Rudy Gobert“

There’s a number of French players in the NBA right now – younger players – that are very talented and competitive, and you can see their progression and see how their career is going to have that arc,” Snyder said.

“We have one of them on our team in Zacch. Like I’ve said before, his competitiveness is unique, especially for his age. Rudy [Gobert] had that level of fight in him. Rudy was incredibly competitive. anybody that watches Rudy and Zacch play, they’re different players, but they’re very unique.”
“I don't think I coached a player that passed the ball better than Boris Diaw. Just his feel for the game,” Snyder said. Snyder has echoed the same sentiments about Risacher's growth through the season, and it looks like he's starting to figure things out more and more as the year winds down.

“I think with Zacch we’ve seen not just flashes, but periods of time where [he’s growing]. I’ve mentioned this about his success not being linear where he has opportunities in games where he does something, and you’re like, ‘Okay.’ For me, things I’ve seen him working on, sometimes for people who are just watching, that’s a flash that they haven’t seen the work that’s been put in,” Snyder said.

Not gonna lie, I wasn't overly thrilled with the pick initially, but now I can see why both Quin and Landry went to go watch him play. He's flashed a bit more than I expected. Hoping he closes out the rest of the season strong, and maybe get with JJ's trainers to help improve his game.

It's largely impossible not to root for this kid to succeed.
