I think LA could win the chip this year. Anything is possible with those two playing on the same team.
Redick is also proving to be an excellent coach. Besides the plumber comments, he showed how intelligent he was as an analyst and podcaster, so it's not surprising to see him get the most out of his team. He understands the game at a much higher level than his predecessor. I think he's one of those coaches like Mazzula or Spoelstra whose coaching could make the difference in winning the series against a better opponent, and with those two...
Yes they could if Luka keeps rigging the ball with his sweat while opponents shoot fts![]()

It's that they have two power wings, most teams are really only equipped to handle one, I don't think I've ever seen a team in NBA history with two power wings that are both hall of fame creators. We only have OG, he can't be on both of them at the same time, the Cavs don't have anyone, the Celtics are probably the only team with the perimeter to defend them. I think LeBron and Luka can hunt SGA for switches, he's a good defender but he's too light to defend them.
I still believe in my boy deuce
Deuce is an excellent defender but Luka and Bron are out of his tax bracket, they're too big to put a 6'2" guy on.

Damn, and he is 32...
Those mavs fans that were trying to believe the lie that they had a chance with their currently constructed team have to be real sick today.

I feel bad for those fans.
The fact that Dallas has no pick control at the end of the decade isn't lost on me either. Like they just basically self immolated, and for what?
Nope. They robbed us of a pick by tanking and laughed about it. Bye bye suckers. I hope Jalen Brunson gets that ring and laughs in their faces.

I was just talking to a hooper friend who has seen Luka play in person. Said the guy is a monster in a way you don't catch on TV. More imposing than you'd imagine with massive shoulders.
Both LeBron and Luka can put opposing wings in a post-up blender. Boston's wings aren't as powerful but they can at least resist. We only have OG, unless we put KAT on one of them (which presents its own set of challenges of course).

That Luka trade Shams tweet was one of the best surreal experiences I've ever had... it's historic, you remember where you were and what you were doing that day
Just can't fathom it... even if he was out of shape, he still just led your team to the Finals... and you traded him for an older walking glass LOLLL
If you're a Mavs fan, basketball is NOT your escape, it's your HELL for the next DECADES.

I was just trying to figure out what I'd do as a mavs fan. And honestly while this sucks... at least they have that dirk championship. That's it. I'd live in the past. Cause even if Luka never wins a chip he is fun as hell to watch and gives any team he is on some hope. losing a player like that is cruel. So yeah, I'd be a casual and reminisce on Dirks run.

The crazy thing is that some fans will use this as justification for Thibs to play guys more minutes. Same with the Embiid injury. It’s crazy as hell.

Remember when they tanked their season and stole Lively from us? I remember well....
