Starters were mostly good, bench squad was very shaky and gave the Hawks momentum. This is a tough matchup for Brook with their athletic bigs and high screen game. Rotation still seems weird.

Pretty poor 1st half. Careless passing leading to runouts. Not stopping dribble penetration or closing out on shooters. Brook's been little resistance at the rim. Not as vertical as he used to be. Sims won't tap the ball to himself. Terrible rebounding for that unit especially. And not hitting as many open looks outside as we should.

Yet, it's tied. We are playing Atlanta, so that's disappointing. Need this 1.

KPJ can't be so loose with the ball with Atlanta so good at steals and deflections. He was too out of control too often when he was out there.

KPJ can't be so loose with the ball with Atlanta so good at steals and deflections. He was too out of control too often when he was out there.

He tends to commit to his shot early, and tries to get it off eventually w/ a slow step. But Atlanta has good d & length to stop it for long enough to force a jump pass. It's a flaw in his game. But what a lot of his positive plays come off too.

Frankly, Atlanta isn't a game for a lot of players, like Brook. Back to back (at least) terrible games against them.
