Thor lost out to Tomlin, not Bates. If we find a better wing prospect, maybe Bates will be on the move next.
It won't be on a Two-Way, today is the final day to sign players to 2way deals this season.

I was thinking more this Summer as we figure out our Summer League and training camp rosters they might find a better use for his 2-way spot.

Emoni is coming off that surgery, though, so I suppose it's possible they may want to cut him some slack until he's reasonably recovered.

Despite Garland falling out of the 50/40/90 club due to his FG and FT. Jerome is currently in the 50/40/90 club, we'll see if he finishes the season there.

I think our goal for the off-season should be to find a player who knows how to throw his shoulders and elbows around. I mean why wouldn't you do this when the refs let you get away with anything as long as you don't extend your arm (and even then they may not bother to whistle you).

Why do NBA players ever do anything else? Are they afraid nobody will shake their hand after the game?

Depends on what we can find in the second round of the draft. Rumor is there’s a lot of college NIL money that may make those picks even worse quality than usual.

Thor was having an objectively bad G League season, statistically. He wasn’t in the team’s future.

Emoni might not be either, but there’s much less pressure from the pro squad to see when he can be ready since the Hunter trade.

I just watched ESPN's the Jump and their pundits really don't want the Cavs to get to the Finals.

I truly believe health will be our biggest obstacle.

In round 1 we should be able to handle any of the Hawks, Bulls, Heat, or Magic.

In round 2 we should be able to handle any of the Bucks, Knicks, Pacers or Pistons.

ECF will most likely be against the Celtics. Idk if we can beat them or not but with HCA we gotta give it our best shot.

Health and fatigue has been a wild card for every team in the playoffs, but Kenny has done a great job preparing the bench and recently he's been experimenting with different schemes he can revisit in the playoffs even in "big games" while still somehow pulling out wins.

The last check box he will likely cover as we rest guys down the stretch and should find some minutes to keep our break glass in case of emergency players ready beyond what garbage minutes provide.

Footnote: Doc Rivers played an 8 man rotation .vs. Orlando and followed that up by bumping to 9 .vs. us. Kenny played 10 guys 16+ minutes.

I wonder who will fill spot 15? Another break glass option or a prospect. Obviously no urgency to fill the spot but I'm sure we will next month.

Will the Cavaliers finish the season with less losses than the Cleveland Browns?

The Cavs have 18 games left and their record is 54-10. The Browns finished 3-14 last season. This means the Cavaliers will have to go 15-3 to finish with less losses.

I don't believe an NBA team ever finished with less losses than their NFL counterpart before so it would be insane if this does happen.

What was the 49s record when the Warriors went 73-9?

I mean the Browns have still sucked for decades running so I'll allow it.

From what I know since I don't watch football that much, I think the Warriors were still in Oakland at the time so it would count as the Raiders that year.

2015 Raiders went 7-9 which means that they actually tied with their NFL counterpart.

Well, if nothing else, the Cavs did win the Wayne Embry trophy this season.
