I dunno man. You gotta change the coach before making a trade like that. Giannis can’t shoot, his game relies on athleticism, and he’s over 30. Giving up a two for one on top of it with our depth issues isn’t ideal.

That Santos 3 off a made FT was a game changer. Can't do that ****! Also lost Buddy Hield made some big shots. And of course nothing you can do to stop Steph on some of those shots either.

Warriors have several really annoying players. Cannot stand Steph but he's earned that privilege to show boat and taunt. Dray and Butler just annoy me!

Hope KAT is alright and can rejoin the team some time during this upcoming trip.

JB Mikal sitting out too long in 4th and then the Santos 3

And you have elementary school most basic "duh" offense from the coach game after game, plus uninspired defense for most of the season, you have a 2nd rd exit team.

We must install a coach that engages the team game after game, I think Thibs only does it 30% of the season, and the main players just play the gargantuan minutes Thibs gives them for granted, without feedback if they do anything right or wrong...

Agreed!!!!

Mikal under a different coach who capitalizes on his strengths could rejuvenate him as an All NBA defender.

LeBron was ass defensively last year under Ham but Redick has them + Luka playing #1 defense since Jan

unfortunately your boy grimes couldn't handle the pressure of playing significant mins on a successful team - but i'm sure he'll give philly nice stats every other game as he mans their tank

Hart tricked everyone, he was making threes, then regression to the mean popped up. He's basically unplayable if there's a center on the floor with him that can't shoot.

Can't really take a lot from this one without KAT. Hope everything works out with what he's dealing with.

We’d probably be better if we had Grimes instead of Mikal. Oh well.

The Knicks were better off keeping Randle and building a strong bench instead. Bridges and KAT don’t move the needle, can’t beat any contenders.

Thibs has to go.

We lost to the Warriors....Why is this turning into a Grimlikina romance thread?

He's gone.

Thibs needs to do much better in motivating his players to come out with fire, and maximizing their offensive potential, and getting the most out of them defensively.... Especially guarding the perimeter.

This team is getting by on sheer talent. With a modern coach that can unlock this team they will be up there with the Cavs and Celtics.

we missed Towns big time on offense. Nobody beside OG didn't have it (even Brunsons 25 felt a little empty).
Oh and I hope Curry plays forever.

Nice to see a lot of people come to the realization we should’ve kept Grimes. Never doubt Jerry West’s eye for talent.

let KAT take his break, keep starting mitch at the 5, and then when KAT gets back we slot him in at the 4 and get this thing really rolling

mitch
kat
og
mcbride
brunson

bench: hart, mikal, precious, payne

The more I watch the team, the more I realize that having all 3 of Bridges, Anunoby and Hart on the court together just doesn’t work. They do the same thing, have the same strengths and weaknesses, and as a result 1+1+1 =2.

I would start by shifting Hart to the bench and playing another big next to Towns.

But long term, one of those 3 needs to be traded to balance the roster. We saw last night, blitz Brunson and this team really struggles offensively.

Oh, and Bridges continues to be worth all them picks.

Easily one of Hart's worse games. He really needs to shoot that ball with confidence. The more he struggles at the 3, the more he becomes Mitch-lite. Hard to believe he was shooting high 30's earlier in the season. This offense -- when it shines -- feels like is in spite of Thibs. Heavy ISO just isn't really fun to watch.

I want to see KAT and Mitch minutes together.

IDC who has to come out of the starting lineup

Keep Precious in the bench rotation, as a small ball 5, or up front next to KAT.
