Very discouraging looking at those box scores. When you have two all-star starters and a top 5 defensive player in the league on your roster going 0-9 while being blown out by those 5 teams is unacceptable.

I see people panicking over the Knicks' losses against the Celtics, Thunder, and Cavs. Those losses are happening because of bench depth.

The best players on those teams are getting time to recover on the bench, whereas the best players on the Knicks are on the court for entire halves.

Bench Hart
Start Deuce
Make KAT take 10 3 pointers per game
Let Mikal handle the ball and make the cuts and passes that Hart was doing

Deuce provides spacing, a legit target for Brunson and Mikal's passes. Benching Hart gives more time on the ball and touches for Mikal.

Thib's obsession with Hart is wrecking the Knicks

Leaving questions about fit and everything aside--that ship sailed anyways with the Bridges trade....I really don't see how the Knicks could pull off a trade for Ball without any picks involved. Highly improbable. Whom would you trade to Charlotte? You would essentially have to trade KAT who IMO is clearly the better player. Maybe making OG available would have the Hornets listening but I really would advise against that. A line-up with JB, Ball and KAT would be appalingly bad on defense.

Also he is super injury prone....

Yep.

This doesn't excuse his defensive inconsistency but this is absolutely a part of the problem
