Yep and that’s what I mean, I think what made things easier on them so far was purdy being so affordable but now they are gonna have to get rid of some better player to fit his contract on the books

Hargrave wasn't that great for them. Not a good signing. But you're right. Purdy will get paid & at the same time a lot of their star players will start to get old (Trent Williams, CMC, Kittle, etc.). It's why their window is closing.

Lynch just needs couple of 4th and 5th rounders and he'll build another all star team. Been there done that.

What expectations did you have lol? He was a 5 time pro bowler, consistently rated and ranked among the top pass rushers first six years until injuries caught up to him.

Certainly he has been much better than the defensive ends that were picked third a year before and after him.

The 49ers championship window is disappearing so fast

We'll see about that but Hargreaves has zero impact on that championship window lol, graded 78th DT and he is 32. You can find a younger player his caliber with half the salary.

Yeaaahh but I remember when he first signed with the 49ers after the eagles went to the superbowl, people were overreacting and I just remember thinking it sucks to not have him back on the eagles but I think the eagles will be more than ok without him, especially after drafting Jalen Carter.

Fwiw I think the same thing about Milton Williams. Would be nice to have him back but I think he’s definitely been priced out of the eagles budget. The eagles will miss him but not too much, I’m confident in Moro ojomo becoming that 2nd/3rd DT.

Never finished top 5 in sacks. Never made an all-pro. I'm not saying he was a bust. He was serviceable. But definitely not a difference maker with the kind of hype he had coming in.

Klint Kubiak (new OC) has coached both Sam Darnold & Kirk Cousins. You can connect the dots.

No Lockett, no DK and no Geno.

Seattle going with a full blown blow up on offense this offseason

I'm not totally shocked. I thought they might keep Geno around. But they hired Klint Kubiak. Who has coached both Sam Darnold & Kirk Cousins. That's probably the next domino.

Mike Macdonald comes from the school of Harbaugh. Wants to copy the Ravens model. Become a more physical run first team. This is the first step.

Hey there is always room on the Vikings bandwagon. No judgement from me if you choose to hop on

lol no, I approve of the overall direction, honestly. It's the best way to get back to contention. Geno wasn't taking this team to the promise land. He was just a bridge.

I agree. Success was not going to be with Geno. But then the other side of the equation comes into play. Who is going to fill that Void. And the gameplan around it

Probably another short-term bridge guy before they draft someone. They want to build the team from the inside- out. Which means not paying receivers big money (DK & Lockett). Instead, invest more in the trenches. Which is the prudent thing to do.

I’m honestly not that surprised. Geno peaked already. You can never do anything in the POs with him. Draft a quarterback and develop the line like you said and go from there. Or maybe trade a first and a second for JJ

Yall should just trade a 1st for Tanner McKee and then win the next 17 super bowls straight. Easy peazy

Raiders discord is mostly on board with this. Not to many dissenters.

I like this I see no down sides. Smith is underrated.

We need to beef up the oline more & maybe sign Lockett?

And hit in every pick in the draft we can give Smith an extension & still have cap space left.
