Did not see that coming. Does that add more heat to Dk going to the Raiders, or less?

Seattle is about to throw a bunch of money at Darnold
And then this is going to happen...

And then this is going to happen...

Now that Seattle needs a QB, can we interest them in one Malik Willis?
Malik for DK. Then draft a backup. Call it in.

Sounds like Seattle is going to push hard to sign Darnold

The recycling of bad coaches and mediocre QBs in this league is so laughable.

Seems like Pittsburgh should have been in on Geno. Hes probably the best QB that will change teams this offseason

I would love to see Rodgers go the Vikings.
As if beating the Vikings isn't fun enough, imagine beating the Vikings with Rodgers at QB.
Although I guess the flip-side of course would be, as much as it sucks losing to the Vikings, imagine losing to the Vikings with Rodgers at QB.

This has been a pretty wild offseason so far.

Geno reuniting with Carroll. Makes sense, though I don't think Darnold is an upgrade for Seattle.

I may be more down on Rogers than some, but I'm not worried if he does go to Minny. I think his arm is fine, but his mobility is shot.

In fairness a quality QB getting traded doesn't happen very oftenMickeyDavis wrote:"blockbuster"

Pretty smart by SEA. Probably didn’t want to commit to Geno long term, especially with a new OC coming in. Also good for Darnold if he ends up there. Nice story of resilience for both guys.

Smith for Darnold is not an upgrade. Im guessing Rodgers and a draft pick QB for Seattle.
They knew Geno wasnt the answer and moved on.

Re: ATL - Geno to the Raiders for a Third
IF Geno - Seattle's decent starting QB got traded for a third, what does that do to DK's percieved cost for his own trade? To my mind, this is starting to look like a reboot. Maybe not a firesale, but that first round and third demand seems even less likely Darnold or Rogers aren't their saviors.

Re: ATL - Geno to the Raiders for a Third
KOC could probably get the best out of Daniel Jones considering they have good pieces all over the place on that roster but the best of Daniel Jones isn’t winning you a Super Bowl so why even go that direction? Like I said after the Geno trade, I can’t for the life of me understand the insistence to recycle all these players over and over again. These reclamation projects always feel more like ego more than strategy.

I agree with your premise, but I'm not sure what teams like Minnesota, Vegas, Seattle, Pittsburgh are supposed to do. There just aren't many decent QBs options this offseason. The draft has 1 or 2 QBs worth drafting unless you really like Dart. The free agent QBs consist of Darnold, a washed up Aaron Rodgers, Justin Fields, a washed up Russell Wilson maybe a washed up Kirk Cousins, and Daniel Jones. Geno is legit probably the best QB who will change teams this offseason. It's why so many teams are desperate to hold onto a good QB when they have one
