For Bams career we have a 58% win percentage when Bam scores at least 20. Would be 5th in the East.

Over the last 4 seasons we have a 61% win percentage when Bam scores 25. Would be 4th in the East.

We have a 68% win percentage when Bam scores 30 in his career. Would be 3rd in the East.

Keep in mind this doesn’t include any context like Bam almost single handedly beating the best team in the league on their home court despite 7 rotation players being out and Terry playing a team high 40 minutes.

In general, teams arent focusing the efforts of their D in stopping Bam.

If Mia were to make him the primary offensive option, I suspect he'd struggle mightily.

He doesnt possess the handle and footwork and quick decision making abilities to beat doubles by good teams.

He sees his fair share of double teams and guys collapsing on him in the paint with each touch, hell he led the league in scoring in the paint a couple years ago and teams swarmed him.

I know you don’t like the dude but this is nonsense

There are 2 new narrative that have began this year regarding Bam that are just pure nonsense.

1. Teams don’t defend Bam because they don’t see a guy who’s nearly averaged 20 the last 4 years or so, a 3 time all star, and 2 time gold medalist as a threat.

2. Bam can only score when Tyler is playing because he sets the table for all of Bams points and is the only player on our team being guarded.

You all have got to stop lol. This isn’t even a “well you just glaze Bam all the time” thing, this is just nonsense that needs to be put to rest regardless of player.

Not just how fast you bring the ball up but how you ate positioned for things, scheme, shot selection, size all affect possesions per game. It's a problem.

Found this interesting and wanted to bring it over here. So when comparing our players to others what’s the best way to eliminate the difference in pace? Greg would probably know, is it just by using per75 or 100 possessions? Is it even much of a difference from top to bottom to even matter?

I do find it funny that the goal was to speed up the pace by changing the offense to a run and gun style where we wanted Bam and Jimmy to learn how to fit in to it and we still find ourselves last in pace and it led to Jimmy not being happy with his role (yes I know money too) and Bam having his worst start to a season in his career while we were mediocre and had a worse offense than last season.

If you all remember the Cavs game we were down like 16 towards the end of the 1st half and we went to a crazy pace to close the half over the last 3-4 minutes and basically erased the deficit. Didn’t seem like we played with that pace ever since, Mitchell was a big catalyst in that

Rozier and JJJ could very well mirror Dragic(expiring deal) and Achuiwa in the S&T market.

That’s $30-$31M in cap, who are the players matching that this summer?

Harden
Turner?
Naz?
Kyrie (doubt he doesn’t pick up his option now)
Brook Lopez?

Pretty weak class, we need to retain Mitchell too

What does everyone think about Josh Giddey? Could be an opening to recruit him down here in free agency and work out a S&T with the Bulls. Big oversized constant triple double threat at PG. Only 22. Will make life easy for Bam and Ware. Looks to have improved his 3 point shot. Probably would prefer here over the rebuilding bulls. Contract should be around the 30 per range which puts us right into the Rozier and JJJ or Jovic package.

Are any of the guys mentioned worth forgoing 2026 FA in the Heats eyes though? I’m going to say probably not

Not for 30 mil per. But Giddey on the other hand fills a massive need at PG and is heading into his super prime years and seems to be getting better and better. Have to give the kid credit for being able to over come all the adversity and ball out with the Bulls showing the reason why he was drafted so high in the first place. I'm willing to roll the dice with Giddey and give this team it's big true PG it needs and at 6'8 it gives us incredible size at the position that should feel similar to Riley in what he had with the showtime Lakers with Magic.

Ware is back tonight, Herro is probable, Wiggins is questionable.

Call me crazy but I don’t even want Wiggins to return, we’ve finally gotten the hierarchy correct and are getting high reps for Bam and Herro. We all know who will be asked to sacrifice (for no reason) when Wiggins returns.

It's huge getting Ware back as he's essentially Bam's backup at Center when Bam needs a breather. Also allows Bam to get back to playing solid PF minutes. Happy he's all good

Would be an insane amount of easy dunks for Bam and Ware. Giddey has eyes in the back of his head with some of the passes he makes. Will also get Herro much easier shots as well. I’m looking forward to watching Giddey audition for the Heat brass tonight. Have a feeling when free agency opens in the summer he’ll be one of our first meetings and everyone will be like they never saw it coming. We are an extremely attractive destination for Giddey and have the precise contracts to make a S&T happen that pays him what he wants.

Giddey would be great but the Bulls wont let him go, they will demand Ware as any foundation of a trade. Giddy is a 6’8 young and playing great at the PG position, he won’t come cheap. The other big picture issue is ignoring 2026, what would we do with Mitchell since he is also a free agent this offseason (restricted).

Bulls may not want to let him go but players have easily forced their way out via restricted free agency. Look no further than Jalen Brunson to the Knicks who we also entertained as a restricted free agent. Jovic could be desirable for the Bulls as the Chicago area has a big serbian population. Miami offers a better opportunity for Giddey to compete rather then being saddled with a full rebuild franchise. Also read the article about how the Bulls have initially balked at his 30 million asking price due to there rebuild situation. To answer the question about Mitchell we will have plenty to resign him to a fair deal as a backup PG after Duncan restructures his deal.

If Josh Giddey played in Jordan’s era it would be a much different discussion about who’s the 2nd best player ever behind LeBron

Officiating crew should have to split it with him for shafting him 3 times at minimum in the 4th and especially on the final play
