Gadzooks you guys we've got Celtics vs Lakers on ABC headlining an 8 game Saturday

- #2 in both conferences as Celtics and Lakers renew their rivalry - Luka and Bron vs Tatum and Brown - Lakers have won 8 straight and 20 of last 24, Celtics have won 13 of last 16
- Steph and the #6 Warriors host Cade and the #6 Pistons - both teams 8-2 in last 10
- Orlando looks to re-find their magic, visit Bucks - MIL going for 5th straight win, ORL trying to avoid 6th straight loss
- Pacers vs Hawks and Heat vs Bulls in East showdowns
- Hornets have lost 9 in a row, Nets have lost 6 in a row - someone has to win!
- Enjoy the big games good pals

I'd of course like my guys to whoop some Laker butt tonight, but also I've been trying to figure out how/why the Lakers defense has been so good and I still don't get it if I'm being honest. So I'm kinda looking forward to some scouting and perhaps understanding that a little better after tonight.

During their 8 game win streak LAL are holding opponents to a league-low 30.7% from 3. So it will be fascinating to see how they do vs the Celtics 3pt barrage.

Trading DFS for DLo was huge for them, plus getting back Vando, Gabe from injury and improved Hayes, all add to that. Lebron is also playing great on defense. Dude is just everywhere on the floor. They are all strong, athletic and switchable defenders that can also play big.

And i know you Celtics fans like to **** on Doncic's defense but he's been actually really good on that end as well. He has a career high On/Off of +12.1 at the moment with LAL. So all in all, Redick found a way to make it work.

But Lakers will be missing another key piece of their puzzle in Rui, who was also playing really well on both ends.

Luka Defense will be tested tonight. I hope it’s solid and we can get this win. This is our 2nd biggest test this season. The Nuggets was the biggest.

The NBA will hit the jackpot if we get a Lakers vs Celtics finals.

Not only do you have star power, but the rivalry between the 2 teams. I'm not usually rooting for specific matchups, but Lakers vs Celtics just makes the most sense from a entertainment headline standpoint.

I haven't been this stoked about a game in a long time. Hope it lives up to the hype tonight.
