I really don’t like the accusations that the Hornets lied or withheld medical information on Williams. They were playing him for 25 games before any trade rumours started.
He was playing fine before this week. They’re shutting everyone down, not just him. Just tanking. But because Charlotte is this small franchise you guys just lob accusations and assume the worst. It’s gross.

Mark Williams and his agent need to take the Lakers FO to court over the irreparable damage they've done to his value in the NBA due to this trade. Mark Williams, prior to this trade, was viewed as a potential franchise center, the kind of young talent that a team would pay a massive amount of money for. Now in negotiations, other teams can use this Lakers outcome as leverage to deny Williams the money he deserves on the open market.

They probably just missed it.

Exactly, it's a he said she said thing. There is no reason to believe LA's word over Charlottes.
No not exactly. The Lakers made the trade then didn't like what they saw in the physical. It's not unprecedented. Charlotte either hid it or more likely simply missed it, and now had extra incentive to have the trade go through. They obviously aren't going to sign him to a long term deal, and he has little trade value now. That and they lost out on an unprotected 1st.
But if you're right and the Lakers lied, Charlotte will give him a long-term contract.
This makes zero sense. Why would Charlotte give him a long-term contract? They literally just traded him.

The Hornets are also sabotaging his value by intentionally adding to his missed games count.

Maybe Charlotte has been promised Flagg if they don't take action against the Lakers?
Keep in mind we also have new ownership. Give us Flagg we can all forget this even happened.

Flagg to the Hornets as compensation?
No way. Far more likely Flagg finds a way to end up on the Lakers at this rate

They failed the physical because they got cold feet.
They failed the physical because Rob Pelinka cited growth plate issues. Point blank that's why they rescinded the trade. He's still growing into his body.
Then why did Charlotte dispute this?
Because they are going after the standard physical where he was healthy at the moment. LA simply was looking at it from the future standpoint.
If he's still growing into his body and still having injury issues, is he a viable option to invest in if he's going to miss more than half his career while his body isn't healing properly while growing into it?
