Maine Celtics, 2024-25 – Loss in the EC Finals

Maine almost blew a 32 point lead tonight in Cleveland, but hung on and won.

Davison had a 30 point, 13 assist, 11 rebound triple double and drew lots of praise from the Cleveland TV guy.

Miles Norris played and was not particularly impressive. Part of that might be due to unfamiliarity with his new environs.

Drew Peterson was there but not in uniform. Reportedly he got kneed in the leg by Drummond last night and was feeling it today.

Scrubb and Enaruna did pretty well. The Cleveland Charge play in a great old arena.

Pretty sure the Peterson injury happened early in the 1st qtr. I left a comment in the game thread when I saw him running up the floor gingerly. He was on his way to 30min and 20 points before that

Maine played earlier and lost in OT. Davison got his usual huge stats. Enaruna looked good. He could be a future two way player for somebody. New guy Wheeler played, and looked Gleagueish.

He doesn't seem to excel at anything else, and is not as meaningful a presence on the court as you'd like to see.

Yeah, it's worth seeing if he can grow his game. He starts with that three point shot, and they build him out from there. Everything else has to improve, including physical strength.
