I agree with your premise, but I'm not sure what teams like Minnesota, Vegas, Seattle, Pittsburgh are supposed to do. There just aren't many decent QBs options this offseason. The draft has 1 or 2 QBs worth drafting unless you really like Dart. The free agent QBs consist of Darnold, a washed up Aaron Rodgers, Justin Fields, a washed up Russell Wilson maybe a washed up Kirk Cousins, and Daniel Jones. Geno is legit probably the best QB who will change teams this offseason. It's why so many teams are desperate to hold onto a good QB when they have one

Good points. Like Matches Malone suggested yesterday (maybe a bit jokingly) Malik Willis might be drawing some behind the scenes interest as being a good and cheaper risk for some teams.

I've seen worse QBs then Geno and Baker (2 reclamation QBs as you put it) win SBs

Baker Mayfield signed a 4mil deal with Tampa before they gave him 33m annual. He also just turned 29. Geno is 34 and about to sign for 45m annually and has never won anything in his career. Tampa at least did it the right way and made Baker prove he was worth more money.

Nick Foles, Brad Johnson, Trent Dilfer. There’s your list over the last 25yrs. What type of point does that prove?

Stop giving these dudes monster contracts and constantly resetting the market is all I’m trying to say. If you disagree with that then I’m not really sure what else to say. If you think those types of QBs are worth that because the league as a whole says it’s the going rate, that’s where the problem is.

Geno Smith the last 3 years has been a solidly average QB and $40-45 million is about average QB money these days. This certainly isn't resetting the QB market.

Geno isn't resetting the market.

And you forgot Flacco FYI if were talking about simply average, or slightly below average, QBs(I kinda wanna throw Eli in there too or even Peyton on his last one)

And the point is that that just because you don't have a top QB doesn't mean you CANT win. Sure it makes it harder but not impossible or unlikely to the point that teams shouldnt even consider trying

What's your point? That teams without an elite or upper echelon QB should just tank?

There's only so many top flight QBs. Nothing wrong with having an average one and building around him cause yes teams can and have won doing just that

I would love to see Rodgers go the Vikings.

As if beating the Vikings isn't fun enough, imagine beating the Vikings with Rodgers at QB.

Although I guess the flip-side of course would be, as much as it sucks losing to the Vikings, imagine losing to the Vikings with Rodgers at QB.

He could still own the Bears twice a year, that would be fun

Rousseau off the market, still a lot of pass rushers out there but I have a feeling more will sign before we can get to them.

If Rodgers goes to Minnesota with Jefferson, Addison, and Hockenson that wouldn't be good for the entire division. I'm sure Aaron Jones re-signs with them in that situation and wouldn't be shocked if Davante follows.

He just had a year where he sucked with Breece Hall, Garrett Wilson and Davante and I'm supposed to believe he isn't gonna suck a year older because he'd have a better TE in Minnesota?

Minnesota has coaching, a better online, Jefferson is the best wr in the game, Hockenson is a great receiving and blocking tight end. If he goes there, I hope you're right.

Regardless of whether it's the Vikings or Giants that Rodgers ends up signing with, it does seem likely at this point that we will get Rodgers vs the Packers next season(barring injury)

If there's one thing current Ridgers is known for its his willingness to be coached

No idea why anyone would fight the point he's done. The last time he was good was 4 years ago and he's 41 now.

A change a scenery isn't gonna make him magically better

I'll repeat. The last time Rodgers was good was his 2nd to last year in Green Bay..... Which was 4 years ago.

I'll say that again just for good measure. The last time Rodgers was good was 4 **** years ago

He's now 41 years old. Why on earth anyone thinks he's going to magically become better post 40 or that his decline starting at age 38 hasn't just been the natural decline that happens to every player ever not named Brady once they hit that age is beyond me.

Let Rodgers go to Minnesota. It'll be a sad end and will pull them down. I'm hopeful it happens

(and the Jets offensive line was pretty average last year)

Would be hysterical to watch Rodgers force feeding Devante and shutting out the best receiver in the league.
Rodgers is Chad Pennington’s arm attached to a statue. Let him go there.
