Sixers @ Celtics - March 6th

Post#1 » by the_process » Fri Mar 7, 2025 1:47 am

Didn't see a game thread, I assume very few are actually watching this, but thought it should be here anyway.

Both teams have over 33% of their rosters out tonight.

Holy hell! We've reached an all time low in a game thread.

I took this one mostly off because I hate losing to the Celtics.

Is Ricky injured or Edwards totally stole his lunch money? I think Justin has more potential, but i like Council's energy and driving game.

i forgot we played tonight.

turned it on. That possession we missed 3 open 3s and a dunk in the same possession and then just turned it over as Drummond tried to iso from the 3.

i turned it off.

The Sixers are unwatchable, all time low especially when playing the Celtics. A short time ago, there would've been at least 15 pages of posts for a Celtics game including me.

Now, I don't give a damn when the Sixers play. Sad, I wasted money on NBA League Pass to see this garbage.

We lost. That’s what’s important here.

My thoughts:

Derrick White should seriously consider a crown replacement for his tooth and mouth guards. Doesn't seem like the bridge is that secure.

It's pretty disheartening when half their starters are out but their bench of random generated 2K create a players go nuclear on us.

You can go from this product we played with in this game to a team wanting to go for the play-in the next game right?

Quentin Grimes is showing his limitations.

Brandon Williams also put up big numbers on a depleted Mavs squad.

The league’s best talents shine even against defenses designed to stop them. Maybe this was just an outlier, and he drops 50 the rest of the way—but until then, he just falls into that archetype which i find to be easy to find

You keep saying easy, but we've never had anyone like him, Melton was close, but not nearly as good offensively, and constantly injured.

Danny Green. Those 20pt games by Danny Green was fun. Wish we could had him earlier.

Sure, but the dude was not an offensive talent, and he was at the end of his years during that time. All these players are either past their prime, injury prone, terrible offensively, or incredibly inconsistent. Grimes has the most potential.
