Considering Boston's non Jays shot 4 -16 from 3 and Boston didn't have KP, and still won somewhat easy. BTW Hauser only payer 12 minutes and went 0-1. Can't really blame him. Did play good Defense in his short stint.

But this was a Big game and our 2 best players stepped up as it should be.

That's really the problem with being 40 years old.

If age is not an issue then we would be seeing more players age 40 or older still playing.

Tatum played like LEAGUE MVP, AGAIN. Nail biter at times. Would not have won without 37 minutes of Al Horford. Holiday doesn't look fully healthy but he made 4 WOW plays tonight. Jaylen Brown's aggressiveness on offense and defense was sorely needed, although Al Horford and Tatum were all worldly on D. It will be interesting to see Porzingis play again without a limp. I still question whether Zinger was brought back to soon since he seems to limp a lot.

I know the Jays will take it, and deservedly so, but I voted Horford and team because **** YEAH! Always sweet to beat the Evil Lakers

Horford reminded me today of Robert Parish in terms of being a true contributor in his late thirties for the C's.

He's the same cousin that I've been talking about for a few years, at one point, he was even a Celtics "fan," he always jumps on any team that looks like they're gonna be good… on paper. He wouldn't shut up about the Lakers recently, that was even before the trade. He has been on the Lakers side since LeBron went there, except when they stink, but he also claims to be a fan of OKC and Cavs anytime they beat us. Luka scored a lot, but tonight his game worst -19 was well earned. He got relentlessly orcaed.

If the Lakers don't have the best player in the game, they can't beat Boston in a series. Tonight the Celtics had the two best players.

The other reason Boston won is they're more forceful than LA now, which is something with LeBron on the other team. Because of that they got to the line a lot more. That was the difference in the game.

The bench wasn't as bad as it seemed. They just didn't get many minutes and had even fewer shots.

I was a little surprised the rotation wasn't a little deeper and there were no double big lineups. But Joe Mazzulla knows what he's doing.

Horford was incredible.

We are so lucky to have Al! The man is criminally underrated, and I'll keep saying it! He was so huge for us winning that chip, but with the credit he gets, you would think he wasn't even playing. It's going to be a sad day when he retires. He returned to show the Lakers exactly what Dallas got in the finals! A true legend!! I love me some AL!!

Luka started scoring when we had a big lead and let down some; he had a poor game, I don't care what the stats say! He's hurt though, even the chip doesn't count, so this regular season game doesn't count for sure! I'm tired man…

I don’t wanna be a grinch in here but I’ll say it because the positives of this game were great mainly the jays and Al. But the bench better step the **** up against good teams come playoff time. I saw some piss running down our guys shorts. PP and Sam need to be better than this in big games

Lakers will have the same problem the Mavs had vs. in the finals. Unless both Lebron and Luka have great games at the same time then they won’t have enough scoring to beat us. Reaves is fine but he’s not a championship third option IMO

That's too far ahead.

Lakers will most likely not make the finals because of Lebron's health concerns at 40.

Luka is also looking he has a number of nagging injuries.

Right now OKC is still the favorite, but GSW and LAL will make it harder for OKC.

And Denver could be the surprise team of the west this season.

VC to JB for some clutch shots in the 4th. JT for CP. jt played bad in the 4th basically looked frustrated. Made some awful passes leading to lakers fastbreaks. Horf played good. If we shot it decent, this would have been a 30pt lead to start the 4th. White and Jrue shot poorly. Still a good win despite the poor shooting. We can’t throw away big leads that fast.
