Prefer losses to wins right now, but for tonight, I’ll enjoy the rare and unexpected W.

This is just a ridiculous post. Losing does nothing for the magic

It absolutely does.

What does it do? Because winning the lottery was slim.

Paolo will be fine, people making a deal out of nothing. He has been playing well since the all star break.

I just watched my two teams, Duke and Magic had a lead, lost it and then won at the end.

Wow what a stressful viewing. Couldnt continue my rehab exercises watching those games

Great win led by the offense. Paolo and Cole were our best offensive players.

If Cole played like this every night I would love him but he is too up and down. I Just feel like someone like Simons would be a perfect fit for the magic because he is far more consistent.

119 offensive rating. Things are starting to improve on that end.

Crazy that game threads are like 1/19th the size when we win than when we lose. I think people just love being miserable lol.

Paolo will be a perennial all-star regardless. I’m looking for growth towards all-nba play. We are seeing that as of late and it’s the only thing keeping me sane when I think about this team.

It has much more to do with the fact that it was a Saturday night more than anything else IMO.

This reminds me of last season when we were in the hunt for 2 seed but lost at Charlott and then 3 straight games on the road vs unmotivated teams to fall to 5 all only because of a must win last game vs Bucks.
Our failed home stand will sure cost us in the end but reaction was overblown as usual. Season is a failure but team still has some playoff implications left.

When season started game threads has 40+ pages, now during game there is almost never more than 14-15. After game people just talk about other stuff.

I think most people gave up on this season :dontknow:

East play in picture:
Hawks- made -lose now trades, hold 7th spot - 30-34
Magic - made no moves, 8th spot, 30-35
Heat - traded best player for Wiggins , want to keep pick( avoid playoffs, top 14 protected) , will get Warriors pick as well 29-34
Bulls- made lose now trades, want to suck, 26-38 record

It's like watching wounded cat ( Magic) racing 3 blind mouses. We can't go up in standings, we can't go down, other teams want to miss playoffs.

This is definition of purgatory in nba. You make playoffs and you go through 4,5,6 a** whooping sessions vs Celtics/ Cavs.
You miss playoffs, and your lottery odds to jump to top 4 are minimal ( below 10% ).

It was a Saturday night dude.

I had to watch the replay on LP. I almost punched my work monitor when KCP BRICKED that corner three and then fouled Freak for no reason. We got people dogging on Cole and he was the one setting the tone. Aggressive AB manifested himself which is more and more sounding eerily familiar to when they had to beg Elfrid to be aggressive every game. But I'll take it. We have capable players who cant be depended on the be consistent so you take it where you can get it. Still a bunch of broken down sets, bad plays at the end. We survived ourselves but this had trap game written all over it for the Bucks so I'll take the W.
